Not sure you can get a better wing in Lexington than Pies and Pints. Shew wee.
All-natural, dry rubbed & marinated in sriracha hot sauce, citrus, garlic & cilantro char-grilled to perfection & served with our own creamy Gorgonzola

Saw Hoots advertising their Overnight Smoked wings or something on the TV. Not sure about that, there.

...their Buffalo Chicken Sambo is still tops, imo. They have good food, just don't care to spend more than an hour in there or any bright *** sports bar environment, really. Dark & ******, ftw.

They're good but too small. Similar to FABD's problem until a few years back when they started carrying more jumbo size wings.

^ it sure does. It has bones, and is for adults.

-SAE & I have been planning a Buckhead Happy Hour meet up for several years. Place is garbage, but their happy hour/wings were always cheap, and I liked the Ski Lodge vibe of the place. PTI(pti) & I used to crush back in college. Could definitely see that being a "walk across the street" spot if I lived in Beuchel.

Wife and I lived in the place for about a year during happy hour and then they changed their menu and have sucked every since. Rocky's Sub Hub next door is even worse.

Also they can upgrade from their TV's from 32" anytime they are ready

Can't imagine living on Bardstown Rd and ever visiting Buckhead's or Rocky's. Talk about a wasted meal.

Can you imagine all the ****** service stories we'd get if Anth lived on Bardstown Rd? Holy moly!

-That's my kinda setup, SAE. Nice find. Never given that place a thought, other than the gyro next door.

Saint's has invested in their patio bar. To me that place is the perfect setup. It's a true neighborhood pub. It's dimly lit, there's character and the food is actually really solid. They also seem to have the only patio in St Matthew's.

^ I never thought that place would survive after Molly's, and then Tin Roof. Good to hear.

Their Pep Bread is :fire::fire::fire:

You can walk to the Douglas Loop, tons of places in that little area. Cheap and much better than Buckhead's. Place is terrible. Or just get a $4 Uber rather than drink and drive.

I did live on BTown Rd, bubby. It was great.

Umm, you can, yes. It's 1.8 miles from SAE's driveway to Dundee Tavern per google. Sounds fun.

Think you're missing the point here, nobody is talking about going out to dinner. You can SEE Buckhead from their driveway -- we're talking about walking over after work for a $2 Tallboy and some wings on occasion, or when you get in a fight w/ your wife maybe. Draft Domestos are Draft Domestos. El Nopal is next door too, right? Even better.

The owner of Saint's, Bruce, is a good dude. He took out the cheesy club factor of the joint and made it more of a true bar. Their patio bar is now dope and they smoke their pork and wings on a BGE out there. It's also turned into a UK Bar.

Not me, I LOVE Buckhead's! One of my favorite places to eat or go.

Did '73 hack your account?

While I've got you, send me $50 please. And have your friend Jerome do the same. Interest begins accruing after 7 days.

Oh for the bet you all changed 5 times then you changed your entry based on mine. Get pumped. You'll wait as long as I please.

When's the last time you visited your favorite place to eat?

So I didn't dream that South Carolina is really in the Final Four? That wasn't a drunken haze from Memphis. Real thing, eh?

The bet that I won is the one I'm talking about. The one where I went 6-1-1 on the S16/E8 games ATS -- I'd say I earned it.

Take your time, though. Only took you 3.2 months to pay the last one. #cheers

Can Willy, funKY, or someone make me a more serviceable avatar out of this picture? Ol' dude thumbing his nose with a K instead of a Y would be my #1 pick.

Oh, yeah. I actually saw and spent time with Clark in Memphis. Really enjoyed it. He should do things like that more often rather than coming to town and blowing us off.

Place has slipped, imo. I'll take the neighbor Mexican business that they CRUSH every time they set up shop across the street, which they've done what, 40 times now?

Those guys are ruthless, but they know their business.
