Game notes from UK athletics:

26-5 in tourney under Cal,6-0 in seeet 16

Bam had a career high 5 assists, Willis tied his career high with 4

Fox has led us in scoring for 5th straight game

39 a record for any freshman ever in NCAA tourney

Only 6 turnovers.

Monk had 21, I know he got it going but didn't realize it was 21.

Willis is a shot blocking machine as of late. And the ones he doesn't get he alters quite a few more shots down there. 18 blocks over last 8

33 elite 8's since 1951

Never burn a couch until at minimum the FF, back when I was in college we'd wait until we won the title before we burned news vans.

We got this pretty cool guy who rides around town on a 3 wheeled bike, lounging in the shade, waving at everybody, advertising for local businesses, laughing to himself, etc etc - Hawkins definitely has surpassed that guy as the best thing Richmond has ever produced. It's a great day for this town.

After one big moment late last night I jumped up off my couch and patty caked the hardwood floor loudly and repeatedly. You have to wonder what the wife and dog think in those moments upstairs when they hear screams and weird noises.

It's probably me just being old but they need to just start pepper spraying these State Street jackasses. Burning couches/mattresses, destroying property, and throwing flaming shirts into groups of people over a Sweet 16 win?

The Richmond Waver? I thought he died several years ago.

The guy, while still a prick, was referring to a question after the Florida game, not the South Carolina game.

Dom was clutch again last night. There literally isn't a better time for that guy to turn into a shooter, defensive stud and calming influence then motherf'ing March of his senior season. Actually expecting his shot to fall every time now. Fox will get most of the love for last night, as he should, but Dom was f'ing huge when we were still figuring things out.

For lack of a better word, Hawk "emerging" to do what he's been doing has been the difference between this team being a first weekend flame out and a title contender.

How garbage is Scott Drew tho. That guy cheats his *** off and still can't capitalize. Probably has a wife that verbally abuses him. Sad.

I'm struggling to come up with a decent list of national sportswriters I don't dislike.
