- I was considering a trip to Indy before the invite even though I hate Indy and will never come back never ever ever again. I appreciate it and promise to come strong. Looking forward to soaking it all in without the pressure of gameday. Expect an Adrian-level early morning arrival.

- March is fun but what an emotionally taxing month.

- You don't want me or BKH in your bracket in the College Basketball Name Game.

- Featured on my all-time classic March Hype playlist:

Till I Collapse- Eminem
Eye of the Tiger
Run This Town- Hova
Let's Go- Trick Daddy
Jump Around
No Easy Way Out- Robert Tepper
Lose Yourself
We Will Rock You
All the Above- Maino
Power- Yeezy
N's in Paris
Thunderstruck- AC/DC

Hope Gillie is OK. Acting better now?

Or maybe Gillie just hates you now. Understandable.

Adrian-level early is pretty damned early, bub. That will mean you have to arrive and be cracking one open before anyone else is even up or getting ready. Good luck. I'll either be at Patachou or out scoping the Ice situation.

Medium Rare since he was 2, iirc. Only REAL truffle butter too, none of that infused oil ********.

Hopefully, with age, he'll learn about the finer marbled cuts.

Was thinking last night about the prep that's involved for the job, probably underappreciated.

Neither New Orleans or Mt. St Mary's players had names on their jerseys...and Anderson/Kellog were calling the game (by name) in the flow, clearly not referencing a sheet while doing so. I get that's their job to be prepared, but most people don't realize (I assume) the work that goes into being able to do that, especially on short notice in the tourney for teams they've never seen.

Speaking of Brian Anderson, he is becoming one of my favorite CBS guys. His call of the Notre Dame elite 8 game in 2015 was fantastic.
Anderson was also a last minute replacement in that game for Marv Albert, who was supposed to work it but I think he had the flu.

And in relation to the broadcast of that particular game, maaaaaaaaaaaaaan, EFF Len Elmore and his jacked up teeth.

Little known fact:

most play by play and color guys are raging acoholics. Like, an inordinate number of them. Some in legendary fashion.

Pat Summerall, Harry Caray, David Feherty, Pat O'Brien, Howard Cosell, Bill Raftery, etc.

Seems like some KenPomBall on here posted something about him basically cooking the books in order to look correct at the end of the year. Apparently, I took that post as gospel because I don't give much of a **** about Kenny anymore.

I think Archie Miller will be the better coach...let him coach NC State for a few years and recruit against heavyweights, then come in after Cal.

I am philosophically opposed to Kentucky hiring coaches that have won a national championship already. Just not sure the desired “I will kill someone to win a title” drive is there when they have already reached that summit, particularly when combined with a blockbuster Kentucky contract.

Sort of like PTI railing against max contracts for old ball players, I guess. In a perfect world Sean Miller would get close to answer any remaining questions, but not win it. Similar to Cal (who sucks) and Memphis.

Good point, SAE. Kentucky definitely wants to hire a failure to follow Cal.
