Regarding the brackets...
~Think they got the right teams in it.
~Think the committee did a pretty fair job with the parameters given to them. The culprit to the unbalanced regions is the geographical assignments to the pod.
~The Oregon-UCLA kvetching is misplaced. Oregon was never going to get switched with UCLA as long as they showed they could still play Arizona close without Boucher which they did. Think Baylor is really the only other 3 UK could have drawn but they had a better resume than UCLA despite the eye test. Went into the weekend thinking it would be UNC-UK-UCLA in the South. Baylor helped by losing early but UCLA couldn't make a PAC 12 tourney championship run to make the switch with Baylor.
~Wichita St might win the whole region I guess but seedings aren't based on betting lines and KenPom. BBdK is right about their resume. Thought they would be in the 8-9 game but a ten seed wasn't quite the crime people are making it out to be. The only real underseeded team was Wisconsin which was about the strangest thing the committee did...well, that and putting South Carolina a seed higher than Arkansas. Northwestern being ridiculously overseeded falls right in behind this.
As Cal said last night, go to an S curve with minor bracket adjustments.

Wichita hasn't beaten a single team in the tournament field. No reason to sweat Wichita this year. If we lose that game we were counterfeit anyway.

Give my lass a hard time on here but all and all she's really cool. She just doesn't get all that into UK athletics and isn't a big drinker. I mean she likes the Cats but it's not going to dictate her personal and social calendar. She likes going to football games when she can schedule permitting.
She gets this time of year for me. Took a 1/2 day this past Friday so I could enjoy the game at Hoots with some fellas and then I spent the remainder of the day and early evening at my buddy's patio watching other games. Had a ton of people over on Saturday to watch the game and we day drank throughout the day and into the evening. Yesterday rolled up to Saints to watch the game with some buds. Taking this Friday off as well for some St Patty's bball action to get primed for the KAYTS game.

Seems like the 3-6 line is really strong, hoping to grab a a few 8/9 seeds and hope for a big payday.
Calcutta is based in Cincy so pretty much all teams in the area will be way too expensive.
We really wanted Wichita State before announcement, thought they would be underseeded a little, but damn.
have no idea what to think about Oregon. Might roll the dice?

Underrated aspect of our team - facial expressions. Monk and Briscoe have some of the most memorable facial expressions. Briscoe's big-eyed-mouth-open-"you dumb"-face is great. Cracks me up every time. Monk has a wide range of animated expressions. Love those guys. They some eaters fasho.
