Finally got a hold of American Express and for keeping a 4 figure balance with them for the better part of this decade they apparently have nothing to offer me in downtown Indy at the moment.

Seems like I remember a guy that had a room in Indy available for this weekend.

Walk into chase tomorrow and get the damn reserve for your wife, then get the southwest personal and business cards asap.

That's 200k points and a companion pass. Several vacations worth of travel. Our first round, very minimal, we hit a suite in Vegas then a week in Cancun at Leblanc.

Or just be hard headed.

I show 25k. There's one 10 miles north at Keystone that's 8k.

Hyatt Regency -- 1 South Capitol Avenue -- is that a good address?

You'll need to book through Hyatt, if you're booking through the Chase UltimateRewards portal like Bonzo did for the SEC, you'll pay 3x+ price in points to whatever the current gouged rate is for this special weekend.

Transferred the UR points into Hyatt as soon as I saw it -- and tried to help out my Wildcat Friends. The one in Keystone is a Hyatt Place -- they're fine, just stayed in one at the SECT. Just won't be downtown walkable to everything.

So yeah, $700+ hotel weekend for 16K total points (I give away 16K points to homeless people) but credit cards are stupid.

Jonathan Hock admits that when he first began filming Kentucky basketball coach John Calipari, for an all-access ESPN show on the Wildcats before the 2012-13 season, his opinion of the man was colored by the kinds of things you hear from his detractors.

“My impressions coming in were that he’s a little bit slick,” Hock told SEC Country on this week’s episode of Everybody’s Superpod. “And my impression after spending time with him, both years ago and doing this 30 for 30, is that I love being with him and I think he is not slick. He is really, really genuine. And that genuineness isn’t always going to rub you the right way, because he is very driven. But I admire his genuineness and I respect it, and I really, really enjoyed – as a filmmaker and as a human being – being around him. He’s a really special guy.”

I know a lot of ya'lls favorite past time is questioning every move Cal makes in game but I truly pity the poor soul who follows him at this job.

My wife was watching "This is Us" recently and I was able to pull a classic from my old bag of tricks from her "Grey's Anatomy" days.

One of the fatsos had some speech where they started with a veritable thesis statement and I knew they would restate their thesis for the big close. At every pause, I just kept repeating the thesis statement until finally the character repeated along with me - thus proving what a schlockfest that show truly is.
:eek:kay:

It also works with "Scandal." But during that show, I mostly just whip my head around say, "Well this is turning out to be quite... THE SCANDAL!" I am a fun husband to have, Big-Time, IMO.

Harmon had way more than 125 pages of data on the teams. He had a 3" binder that was completely full.

Ha..watched a bunch of the 14 run on YouTube last night. Maybe it was because it was mostly highlights but Andrew Harrison got to the rim a lot. I'm hoping it was because of the non-SEC whistle. If so, look out because this team is then scoring like they did in November-December.

I do wish this team could figure out lobs.

Textbook block out for those Cuads in that first one. That is if you are allowed to put both hands on your opponent and keep pushing as hard as you can.

Yeah Luuuuke, I am talking about you and your other clown teammate.

All of this Wichita talk makes me feel like we're going to play Dayton in the 2nd Round. That's the way the NCAAT usually works. The dangerous on everybody's radar 10-16 seed usually doesn't advance, but the under the radar feel good story that nobody expects to win, see Florida Gulf Coast, is the team that usually advances and is the talk of the tourney.

1st Four gets **** on for whatever reason -- I welcome it. It's nothing compared to the REAL 1st Round, but it's 2 less arduous days to wait until some Tournament Action.

-I'm taking Dayton & the points.

-2 dogs is infinitely tougher than 1 kid, been telling Anth & Jerry this forever.

It comes from a wrestling personality but I feel like this shirt would be widely accepted here. You could even talk to Tony Schiavone about Georgia Basketball if you felt like it.

So to earn 200K points I need to spend $6,000 + on vacations/travel in the first three months?

I know they are a new technology but there are some vendors that take credit card as a means of payment. Some grocery stores, online purchases, a few restaurants... They are tough to find but they are definitely out there.
