I don't know about losses- I trust the guus commenting on that because they're smart and know UK.

I just know that we're going to be a seed lower than we expect. Get ready for yeomans work.

As of today I'd have Kansas, Villanova, North Carolina, and the Zags as my 1-seeds, and UCLA, Oregon, Kentucky, and Arizona as 2-seeds, in that order. If we win out, I could see us getting up to the top of the 2-line. Even if everything breaks right I can't see them jumping to a one. Which is fine. Get **** right and it doesn't matter where they seed you. Look at 2014 or 2011. Just go to Nashville and get **** right.

One man, and one man only can look after the well being of UK's seeding.

I like those Pac-12 teams a lot and they're probably better than a lot of teams on this side of the country who have gotten more attention, but that graphic from February 11 shows just how little respect the Selection Committee has for that conference. One of those teams will get screwed.

Speaking of the win streak, I'm not a fan of going in with 11 straight. I want hardware and will root for hardware but for me personally I can live with a loss this coming weekend.

I think of it more like 8-3

But John they dropped too far. I gotta wear special undergarments now. It's in God's hands.

Who in the heck knows why they do what they do. There's maybe more transparency now than in year's past but they always seem to generate moving targets and then give an explanation after the fact.

WELL, YOU SEE. WE DECIDED TO NOT PLACE AS HIGH OF EMPHASIS THIS YEAR ON SUCH AND SUCH BECAUSE WELL, YOU KNOW, WE CAN DO WHATEVER WE LIKE.

The committee abandoning the "last 10 games" ie. "how you're playing NOW" criteria is some dumb ****.

If you're hot and a better team in March than you were in December, that should be recognized in the seeding.

Which means there will be some teams playing really well that are underseeded and ripe for a run. Fun and interesting for brackets and auctions.

None of the top 3 teams in the P12 were able to accrue many top 50 wins because their conference is terrible.

UCLA is also hurt by their nonconference SOS being devoid of quality competition outside of UK. The committee has a history of rewarding teams for difficult nonconference schedules.

Record vs. RPI top 50

UCLA: 5-3
Oregon: 4-2
Arizona: 4-4

Their competition for 1 and 2 seeds from other major conferences all have more many more games and wins against top 50 competition.

Nova: 10-2
Gonzaga: 5-0
UNC: 10-4
KU: 8-2
Baylor: 9-4
UK: 7-4
UL: 7-7

All of those teams but Gonzaga played tougher overall schedules too than the P12 trio. Even some teams on the 3/4 seed line compare favorably. Butler, Florida St., Duke, and West Virginia are examples of teams with more impressive records against top 50 competition and better SOS.

Their collective dearth of games against what the committee has historically defined as "quality" is why I wouldn't be surprised at all if the P12 being snubbed, underseeded, not respected, and etc. on Selection Sunday is the prominent critique.

On one hand, this is 100% correct.

On the other hand, thank god for this, because I've been watching a team free fall for about a month and they still have a pretty good shot of getting in (read: taking a spot from somebody who deserves it). :grimace:

Gonna hit up Logan tonight at 7:30. Will report back. Getting great reviews. Curious if the absence of the other X-Men in the movie stems from similar circumstances as in the Old Man Logan comics.

Logan. Good not great. It's not really a comic book movie at all. More like typical sci-fi fugitive fare. I liked it more than my buddy. Ultra violent. Don't take children. Can probably wait for it to hit Netflix, if you don't mind eventually being spoiled before you see it.

I was on the fence about watching Logan, an epic tale in today's microwave society, so I was on pins and needles awaiting CoolCat316's promised review.

Egad! CoolCat45's review came in! Good, not great! Ultra violent! Bad for kids! Yet, a middling "wait for it on Netflix, if you don't mind spoilers."

Spoilers. The thorn in my voyeuristic rose. Was I brave enough to suffer the fare? Would the waiting for Netflix creep on me like mexican marijuana in college? Would the consequences be detrimental? Could I simply grab a beverage and something to read, and be OKAY?

I NEED MORE INFORMATION.

Cue wildcatadam6. He claims that it would be nigh impossible to spoil Logan or any other comic book/Marvel movie for him, seeing as how he will never see or watch them.

MORE INFORMATION IS NEEDED.

What I'm simply asking, is, has any other posters promised to come through with reviews for the cinematic fare, "Logan?" Reviews will be appreciated.

If we stay on the 2 seed line, I believe our first round opponent is making their way through the Horizon league tournament...NKU.
They have had a heck of a year in their first year of NCAA Tourney eligibility and have a great chance to win the league tourney with the top 3 seeds losing so far in Detroit.
They have a solid little club and have a RPI hovering around 100 which could bump them to a 14 seed depending on how some of these other tourney's break.

For the first and second round games in Indy, are they playing at Lucas Oil or at Bankers Life?

I would love to get the Indy/Memphis road to Phoenix, so I'm guessing we would need the overall #2 seed?

Nearly died Friday. Was in the throes of passion, on top of a lass, pounding it out, and my head was sort of buried next to her face down in a pillow. Somehow her earring came off and I sucked it down my windpipe. Mid stroke I had to pause, hack it up, and spit the thing across the room. Narrowly avoided a Darwin Award.

Rallied Saturday morning to run my fifth consecutive Mississippi 50 Trail run. Absolutely crushed it. 8:53. 8th overall. Set a PR by nearly 30 minutes.

2 seed. Chillax.

Parker Lewis Can't Lose. Dude, that guy had the sickest silk shirt repertoire of all time. The 12 year old me was crazy jealous.
