That 3-year Duke program wasn't much a step above the UNC AFAM program. ESPN's "Outside the Lines" did a story on it years ago, Carlos Boozer making Straight A's for non-correspondence classes while out of the country for the summer with Junior Team USA so, yeah that's something we shouldn't do.

^K also did this with Maggette and Brand. Took him 7 years to beat back that rep and really was only solved by coaching Team USA.

-My Dad sent me a random text last night about Migos. Said he "likes their flow" [laughing]

-Not trying to be rude, or maybe I am ---> but I'm not coming to Cincy ever again until you two lazy piece of **** friends come visit ME, for once. That includes your wedding, Chad. So, I guess you have 1.5 years to get that done. I'm up there 3-5 times per year on average to visit, and get a return maybe once every 3 years (at best)

-That Northwestern buzzer beater was unreal. Cool to see them finally go dancing, Collins is a rising star.

-Dayton (#NoWilly) is my favorite gambol team this year...their ATS record is great, but I'm not sure I've lost on them all year.

Butler is the most overrated team in the nation (beats Nova at Nova the same day)
Hope we see UVA in the 2nd round (smokes UNC the next day)
Wake Forest is awful (handles Louisville 2 days later)

Sincerely,

CrankDatMustard [eyeroll]

Need to figure out a way for you to use your talents of not watching or knowing **** about basketball to benefit UK, or at least not help our Rivals. Chumps has been able to do it for years, ride around with him and maybe he can show you a few things on reverse jinxing. If you're gonna post here, marcus welby get something positive out of it.

-Also need to figure out a way to monetize Amazon boxes with the amount of time (daily) I have to spend breaking them down. It's beyond ridiculous at this point.

Unless I'm wearing a suit (or shorts) I wear khakis every single day of my life. Just lighter and more comfortable than jeans.

I haven't owned a pair of jeans in 10+ years. *I'M NOT ARGUING WITH THOSE WHO DO* - good for you. But I'm a khakis guy.

Gap, JCrew, Eddie Bauer all good (although they're all constantly tweaking them so I have to switch up). Just discovered Orvis, like them too, maaaybe best of all.

My mulch lines from last spring look like dogshit bleeding into the grass. The bricks surrounding my back yard are all kinds jacked up from prior owners. There's these shrubby pain in the *** bushes that need to be removed along with a dead tree. My wife and I spent weeks last spring trying to get the yard looking good and it turned out just ok. Not touching with it this year. Money well spent, imo.

I generally agree that khakis are more comfortable than jeans. But the recent introduction of denim with just a hint (read: not yoga pants) of stretch built in has been a game changer. Check your local retailers.

I wear slacks/khakis 5 days per week at work, so you can find me in my comfortable jeans that get washed once per quarter the rest of the time.

I get the GYERO elite fashionista angle (never know who you might run into!!!), but if your khakis are more comfortable than your "favorite" jeans, you need better jeans.

- When you live in Greater Cincinnati, it just doesn't make much sense to come to Louisville. No offense. Cool little town overall, though. Probably a nice place to raise a family away from all the hustle and bustle of big city life.

Anyway, good- will be nice having some alone time with Jerome...unless Willy wants to make it out.

- Jeans > Khakis.

- Yardwork schmardwork. That's what I say.

Such a shame they can't work Gus in there.

Is this Verne's last year for the Tournament as well, I assume?

-You guys are going to make Harmon cry if you don't lay off his boy Mick.

I sorta get fanny packs tbh. You can put all kinds of things in there and it's conveniently located.
Guy sitting in my office yesterday was showing off his fanny pack and laughing about having to carry one. Proceeded to unzip it and show all the **** he was carrying in it, including a .22 handgun.

Levi 501's for jeans via Macy's.

Duckhead or Ralph Lauren khakis.

Khakis are more comfortable than jeans.

Unless you're a Canadian nobody in Kentucky should be wearing jeans past Derby. Nothing like dark denim when it's hot and muggy outside. Sure makes swampass tolerable.

Other than Drake and a little bit of Meek Mill I don't know crap about modern Hip Hop. Wouldn't recognize one song from Kendrick Lamar, Future or CHAINCE The Rapper. Need to give their stuff a shot via Spotify I guess but every time I do this I'm about 2 minutes in and change the song to stuff I know/like.

Did watch a Netflix doc last weekend about the evolution of hip hop from it's true origins in the 70's in NYC all the way through Gangster Rap and what we hear today. Kind of fascinating, tbh. Appearances by Bambaataa, Grand Master Flash, Chuck D, Kurits Blow, Ice T, Cube, Kurupt, DJ Yella, DOC, and some others. Dre was really the first one in the West Coast to get away from the disco sound in that area a la World Class Wreckin' Cru and generate the signature G funk sound for that area to identify with.

*I too will be forking over some of my hard earned cash for landscaping this year. Going into year three of it being on the "to do" list, I've accepted the fact it's just going to have to be a budget item.

*Kind of embarrassing how seriously I've taken coaching my 11 year old girl's all star team. Not in a maniac parent way, I don't argue calls and I don't yell at kids...but I DO obsess about lineups, what to work on in practice, how to play the next team.

*Tourney time, golf and pool season around the corner. Yes please. Dad needs to drop a quick 10 to 15.

House heads in Louisville...

Where is a good place for some flooring to put in a basement? Recommended type? Looking for something water resistant in case there is a leak, which I just got fixed.
