Anyone tried these Amazon brands yet?
Buttoned Down --> dress shirts for $40 and $50.
Goodthreads --> casual button downs for $25.
I'm a bit of a label ***** (not anth level, but I certainly don't mind paying extra for the real Polo logo, as opposed to the Knights of the Roundtable knockoff), but if you can't actually see the logo on a basic button down, what's the point? The quality/construction/fit is much more important.

Our DirecTV bill went up $7 per month. $7. My wife sent me an email with the previous month's bill attached as a PDF along with the current month's bill as a PDF. She took the time to insert boxes with her tax software at work highlighting the two items that went up $2 and $5 respectively. I know what's coming. She will want me to waste an hour of my time talking to them to recoup this $84/annual charge. Can. Not. Wait.
They're actually pretty easy to work with. Spent about 15 minutes on the phone with them the other day to see what discounts I was "eligible for" and after some finagling, they agreed to knock off $45/month for the next year.
Obviously they're bending over backwards to appease folks because of all the cord cutting, but still. $540 for a 15 phone call ain't bad.
