I can't think of a team I'd rather play less in the second round than Virginia. Were people serious about wanting them in the second round? That can't be.

I don't think he will...but I think he would like to. Dude loves politics and wants to be in the mix but can't in his current position.
I am more likely to run if it is Mitch. Other candidates would be a different kind of race and some (like Brett Guthrie, Ryan Quarles, etc), I genuinely like. It would be the perfect race for me for a variety of reasons...not least of which is that is is a no lose proposition. Win, you took out the biggest Senator from the state in over a century and are a nationally relevant political figure. Lose, and hey...you lost to the Senate Majority Leader. Plus, I genuinely think politicians like him (on both sides) are what is wrong with this country. I disagree a lot with Matt Bevin and some with Rand Paul...but I respect that they at least have views that aren't simply about winning elections. Mitch believes in party first...I am a good candidate against a guy like that because I am pretty independent on everything except UK basketball...and unbelievably stubborn. So why not? You only live once

I think the Packline actually helps our best offensive players. They'll play straight behind Bam and play gap help on Fox. Should open up kickout 3s for Monk and Willis (Mulder?). If those guys are missing, then yeah. We're screwed. UVA will get every rebound and grind us down. But it won't matter who we play if Monk is off. We'll get beat by anyone if outside shots aren't falling. In this case, if we are terrible from outside, UVA isn't going to run off and leave us. We'll still be in the game and have a chance to shoot out of a cold night. So, bring 'em on . . . hypothetically.

I mean, who wouldn't want to play Virginia, currently a 5 seed who has beaten UL twice and Notre Dame, over a 7 or 10 seed like Minnesota, Middle TN State, Northwestern, etc...

Personally, I'm hoping we play Virginia in the first round, WVU in the second round, UL in the Sweet 16, Duke in the Elite 8, Kansas in the FF, and UNC in the championship game.
I think we have a better shot at facing Duke in the Sweet 16 then Louisville. I do not see Louisville dropping that far, Duke can.

We didn't let him. He went rogue. Field hockey has politely requested no more contact with Larry Vaught after he interviewed one of our players (an All-American, mind you) who went to the same high school as Katie George and all of his questions were about Katie George.
