Play 1: Big kid sets a pick at the top. Fast kid dribbles to the basket as fast as possible and shoots when open.

Play 2: Hope your fast dribbler kid gets the defensive rebound and beats everyone down the floor.

That's it. That's the play list.*

* We actually had 3 or 4 plays, but those pretty much go out the window after about 30 seconds.

Rodman is friends with Un, if i'm not mistaken.

Also, maybe its old news, but Landry from Friday Night Lights is apparently dating Kirsten Dunst and while I get shes not total A-List 10's across the board hot, that guy is absolutely weird looking and she should at least be with someone more attractive.

Not sure why Clark is killing a guy for out kicking his coverage. No idea who he is but good for him.

This is the most accurate thing that has ever been posted on this board. Panicked flings at the backboard make up 75% of all shots - and that may be a low percentage.

My 8yr old's team (2nd grade) played in a tournament last weekend in the 3rd grade division. The first half of the championship game is winding down and we have the ball with 20 seconds left in a tie game. A parent of the opposing team starts counting down from 5 with about 17 seconds on the clock. About the time the parent hits 2, our guy threw up a prayer and of course the other team got the ball. Parents are the worst.

I blame you and the rest of the parents on your team for not shaming that guy into tears, seizures, etc.

We have a coach in our league that apparently submitted his own roster after attending two nights of tryouts and hand picked his own players, as opposed to just getting whoever since it's a freaking (albeit hardcore) Upward league. Kudos to him though I'm pretty sure his team is atop the non-existent standings.

Imagine it sucks nowadays having these fancy adjustable goals for the kiddos. Part of the fun was watching the kids TRY to shoot it over the 9 foot hangover goal into the real basket...and then laugh on the way back down the court.

RIP to these guys:

I guess this parent was just supposed to sit by silently and watch a kid from ANOTHER NEIGHBORHOOD carve up the defense? Getting all the way to the rim. Driving and kicking out for open looks time after time.

Mark this down as the day GYERO officially went soft. Jesus Christ.

It took me a long time to realize (early 30's, while recalling the memory) that my elementary school refs, Fat Man and Beanpole, weren't actually slam dunk champions.

I remember seeing some dazzling displays during halftime and wondering where they played college/pro ball.

To be fair, I'm installing full on 1980s UNC, nay, UC under Tony Yates style 4 corners stall ball this week in practice.

"OK, you 4, go down and set up. Billy, you take the ball close to midcourt, and stand there until there's 7 seconds left in the quarter. Then drive it and we'll see what happens. Got it? OK, bring it in, team cheer on 3, 1... 2... 3 WORLDSTAR leggo"

Well, the guy was wearing a really expensive pair of running shoes and had a 26.219 tattoo on his calf so take that for what it's worth.
i.e. Not an athlete. A guy who's trying to be the best at exercising and has never won a game of 21, Tip-In, or Knockout in his life.

I was a little late to the PMT guys and Barstool overall, but Christ they're hilarious. Mags on there today was a great interview.

I can't really listen to any sports podcasts that take themselves too seriously. All those college bball podcasts that are listed here just don't do it for me.

Insane how popular these guys have become....when I went on, I expected a reaction but it has been amazing how many people have asked me about it. They have such a huge following. And they are both really good dudes.

Feel like we might have turned the corner Saturday...guys were rolling and I was really impressed that we were tied at halftime considering how poorly we were playing. Key is Fox...cant win it all unless he hits another level but I feel good about where the rest of the guys are at this time.

I am hearing that this football coaching staff believes they could land a MASSIVE recruiting class...like top 15 in the country. We shall see of course but they are optimistic as hell

We really need one more scoring guard next year. I am concerned about shooting but just guard play in general if we don't find another.

Nice meeting Wcc last night, although in not great circumstances. He seems like a good dude and will defend the "Hillary is a good person" no matter what...I appreciate those who stick by their guns, even when I a fellow liberal, was laughing.

Do you really believe Cal would run for Senate??

Because if you're going to actually run, that's a solid plan: plant seeds that Cal is running, watch it blow up, McConnell retires out of fear of losing to Cal, you swoop in.

You don't even have to hire Tommyg.

So Chino Hills lost to Mater Dei in the Cal playoffs

LiAngelo scored 26 on 9-32 (5-18 from 3)
LaMelo went 8-33 (8-28 from 3)

[laughing]:weary:[sick]

I seriously can't WAIT until that dude is in college.
