Couldn't disagree more -- the taste drop off when drinking out of these (as opposed to regular bottle or can), whether mental or real, is palpable. :100points: #NoRothstein

-Like most everything else, Anth drinks/loves Bud Light b/c Bean tells him to.
I drank BL way before I met them. You know that.

Also, the aluminum bottles are AWFUL. The flavor is terrible and tastes metallic.

Also, everyone's favorite Tar Heel might be joining us from time to time. Feel free to fire up 3s in his face every time he's guarding you. Something like this:

Anyone that argues against bringing a pro franchise into a town without any is a f*ckstick selfish c*cksucker and I'll happily tell them.

I'll be happy to sign up for this.

And I'll continue to say it --> a sorry *** pro franchise is much more of a burden than it ever is a blessing.

I sure as hell did. Was ridiculous, really -- at least he got to give me a football-sized purple charlie horse in return.

-Looking/hoping for a ****** game from Monk tonight.

I'll tell you which beer isn't all that bad, even though I don't like what/who it is associated with.

A friend offered an Olde Style recently. I reluctantly accepted. It was actually pretty damn good for a light domestic.

You're a selfish f*ckstick **********. Granted I think we all knew this.

I live in a city with an NBA team. They play about 2 miles from my front door, and I'm not sure I know one single person who even considers themselves a serious fan. Including one of my bffs that works for them. Seriously, they are completely irrelevant, and that's even with one of the 5ish best players in the league.

You are truly overestimating the importance of having a 17-win professional basketball team play in front of 394 fans every Tuesday night.

You hold no value in the state of Kentucky being nuts about basketball and having no other pro franchises?

...or what OKC has done in a similar market. 41 games at home. Play 5-6 in Rupp. Who knows if they'll be good but to take a step up they need to act like and stop letting Indy and/or Nashville beat their heads in like the past 25 years.

Yes, I am.

Kentucky is obsessed with *college* basketball. Now you people want 50-60 NBA events a year to compete with that?

Yeah. Not a fan. The smallest, poorest state with a pro franchise in the country can't support that.

Good comps, PTI. NOLA is maybe the most unique cultural city in the country where every day there's some form a parade and raging party on. It's also located in the Deep South where if any sport matters it's football and only football.

Versus Louisville, Ky where basketball is absolute king.

I sometimes wonder if PTI ever sits back, takes stock of something he's arguing, and says to himself "lol this sure if a dumb stance I'm taking."

Best part about tonight being a late game is the inevitable whining and moaning from journalists (bigger heroes than WW2 vets, imo) about "meeting deadline."

Also, CST FTW,

NBA basketball failed in New Orleans once before so no surprise it's happening again. Only professional franchise in the state with a ready made state of the art arena, schedule 5 games a year or so at Rupp. When the Redbirds came to the city in the 80's, they outdrew at least 4 or5 major league teams the first 3 or 4 years. Basketball crazy state that has no competiton from St; Louis, Cincinnati, or Nashville, just Indianapolis they'd be a ready made rival from the ABA days, just seems like a no-brainer

It is amazing how insecure Louisville Athletics is about their own basketball program. That's what this is really about. The Los Angeles Lakers and New England Patriots could both move to Lexington and Kentucky Basketball wouldn't fall off at all. Attendance. Revenue. TV ratings. Whatever. It would hold. Cal would just use the pro franchises to his advantage in recruiting.

Ordinarily would be all in for a WVU win tonight, but not sure if KU coming in after a loss would be good for us. I'm torn on this one.

Wouldn't make one lick of difference either way.

The Jayhawks will be walking into a lubed up Rupp Arena. It's going to be a berserk atmosphere, whatever they do tonight will have literally nothing to do with the result.

The guard matchup on Saturday is as good as it ever gets in college basketball, but they can't get caught up in that and forget to give it to Bam. What a showdown this is going to be.
