No doubt they are great and own the Steelers. Still doesn't change the fact that Booker said they own their cheating.

MEANWHILE, IN COLLEGE BASKETBALL...

I know their offense is good, but I just can't buy UCLA as a title contender.

125th in defensive efficiency? Ugh. Arizona got whatever they wanted against them.

There are certain coaches that I won't believe can get there until they at least get close. Steve Alford is one of those coaches.

As far as our games this week, Sagarin has us beating UT by 11½ and Kansas by 5½. Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if the UT game is closer than the KU game. But hey, that's just me.

Thank you for your consideration.

-Chad can act like he's kidding all he wants but he just can't be rational about politics. TS. Taking him to the Kansas game this weekend and he's wearing a Johnson/Weld shirt or staying home. TS.

-Moving on. Seems like Fox's ankle was going to be ok during the 2nd half. He was up jumping around, walking, in the huddle, etc and Cal said limited swelling. I'm ok sitting him again UT so he's 100% next weekend.

-Worse event to attend? Madness or Gameday? Both are boring and drawn out awfulness.

-For all of Rich's Rupp shaming, the crowd in the 2nd half this weekend was fine. Will be rocking on Saturday for sure. Granted we could use more guys in gingham, cashmere and horse-bits leading our cheers. Like to see these arenas that get up constantly, all game, for teams like Auburn or South Carolina.

-The book was alright but I thought the movie was garbage. The main character over acted IMO. Ratajkowski is really the only part worth watching. Granted I watch some really awful movies over and over.

-5 weeks until March

Went to my first game this year at Rupp Saturday with 05. We had a blast. I think the gloom and doom from the crowd in the 1st Half was because we lost our All-American PG...and no one knew WTF was going on. Even the team was trying to figure it out. 2nd Half crowd was pretty good, especially after the Willis back-to-back dunk and alley oop plays.

Big thumbs up on the changes in the arena though. Seats are still cramped upstairs...arena would be better with a 22,000 capacity and make the changes to the benches. But that will never happen, so whatever.

- I told you people exactly what I was doing. There was no mystery about it.

- I loved Gone Girl and have watched it multiple times. Liked the feel of it and the babes in it are both ridiculous.

Assuming when they add the club areas and more seat backs upstairs you will lose some capacity.

There's no way this New Edition mini series does the subject justice.

Should have been a movie like Straight Outta Compton.

For sure, Chad. We can square this once and for all in the Hyatt pregame.
I'll referee. Probably make a WWE style heel turn on one of you, not sure which one yet.

* Marge and I will be there Saturday and ready to go. Spending the night in Lex. [cheers]

* MVP of Saturday night was wcc's finance's rear end. Mercy. I know I'm heading squarely into Dr. Boat territory with that comment, but it needs to be commented on. Nice work, Chadwick. You done good.

* Fox?

* Need Briscoe to step it back up. He's been awful the last few games.

* Hopefully the Cats don't overlook the Vols. We haven't exactly been spectacular on the road thus far.

* I will be a very happy man if Stoops & Co. are able to hang on to this class. Nice influx of talent. Especially at WR, DB and DL.

* Man, can you imagine if all of this rain was snow? Shew wee.

* We have an upcoming Board Meeting in Florida on Feb 13 & 14. I have no idea if I'm going or not. I'm afraid to ask my boss, because I should know.

* Rooting for the Falcons, think the Pats will win.

* Solo coyote has been spotted all over our neighborhood in broad daylight recently. It's just a matter of time before one of the dog walking hens gets a yorky snatched away. I'm seriously concerned about this.

I greet the neighborhood dogs just like I do the people who walk by when I'm outside.

I just hope when it happens, its the one who ***** in my yard.

* Leggo GYERO! :rolleyes:

Willy, do you like the Mercedes teenage movie date commercial? I think it reeks of white privilege. Told 05 if he wants to do that, he better put on his snow boots and start walking.

I do like it... for Mercedes. Humanizes their product and shows us that even you spoiled chalkies have problems we can all relate to. Also shows that rich white people will go the extra mile to make sure their kids date other rich white people. And the car is good-looking.

-You all realize the irony of Chad's white privilege rant is that not only did his fiance attend a snooty boarding school up East, but Chad himself attended a private Catholic school that costs about $6600 per year to attend. Chad knows nothing about white privilege going to private school his entire life, he got to where he is in life the hard way!!!!!!. :joy:

-The most ignorant thing a person can do is rip on someone for having parents that want the best for them and try to provide it. Total dipship douchebag move, Chad. My motivation every single day of my life when I wake up is to go to work so I can provide everything my daughter could ever want in life. And if you have kids you'll do the same. I dont think you will be picking out the worst schools in the area to send your kid to, so he doesnt fall under the white privilege label. God what a douchebag.

UK up to a respectable 36% from 3 and climbing. :eyes:

We passed the 2015 team in 3pt% a few weeks back. I don't think it is any more a weakness for us than any other team who just has a "cold night". That happens. The difference is we can score easily at the rim through the post, in transition or off the dribble. What is much more likely to get us beat will be the inability to string together 3-4 defensive stops at a key moment.

^more importantly zoning the team is basically worthless. Not just because we have several competent shooters but we start inside first.

-Mags talking about it now but we may have dodged a bullet with Trae Young and his dad. Irrational response to that article. Not to mention Green is building this class.

-Was surprised when Cal mixed in a little zone Saturday night. Think it was 3 or 4 possessions, and USC got the shot they wanted every single possession, but its nice to know he will go that route when our guards are getting their asses beat off the dribble every time down the floor.

-Fox hurt and Briscoe with the worst performance by a guard at UK in the history of the program and they still win by 16. Cant decide if thats because the SEC is that freaking awful or this team is legitimately that good. Or a little of both.

I havent had a drop to drink in 6 months and 3 weeks and havent had a cig in 97 days. Not a sip or puff of either. But yes, I could still manage to get drunk on Sundays and still work on WORK DAYS to provide for my daughter. I mean look at you and your lonely life. You get drunk about 6 days a week now and either take home some 50 year old ***** or go home alone to an empty house with just a dog that is getting old and will soon leave you and you still manage to work.

Doubt we see anymore zone this year:
All you guys out there, you basketball bennies, saying, he never plays zone. I played some zone today, how did it look? Three, three, basket. Okay. Now you know why I don't play zone.
