The Nashville Symphony and Chorus does a Home Alone concert every year where they play the soundtrack live along with the movie. I've been meaning to go the last few years but I always forget about it because it's on a random weekday.

We've watched home alone the last 2 nights. Love that film. My boys go apeshit when Kevin shoots Harry in the dick with the BB gun. Only downside is it makes them want to set traps around the house for me. They think it's hilarious when I come up the stairs and they've set out all their little race cars or strung toilet paper across the hallway. Try to teach them that you can only do those things to a bad guy, when your life is in danger. They're kids tho, they'll learn.

The Irish had a good base for their food but they neglected to season anything correctly
Meh, it's pretty much all garbage. We ate at some former contestant on Top Chef and hottest young chef in Dublin's restaurant, and everything is just off on seasoning. Especially when it's Euro brethren Spain, Italy, France and Belgium put out such good food. Great people though, the best really. Happy hour in Dublin is awesome.

I watched the "Crafting a Nation" doc about local brew guys setting up their shops. Not a bad netflix watch. All these dudes preached about the struggle of starting out, times being a bit lean financially, unexpected hiccups, etc... Pretty much every overworked/underpaid sap has a lot of similar issues starting out in a career (to a lesser degree, obvs). Maybe we all shouldve just actually chosen something we enjoy and went into biz for ourselves instead of rat racing our lives away in our current jobs.

I mean it amazes me that there are people out there that get up in the morning and enjoy going to their job and it doesnt make them want to headbutt bricks.

Until they're in the middle of building a new 6 million dollar facility and they're dealing with all the headaches that come with a major construction project within city limits. Then they're just as stressed and anxious as the rest of us. Of course when it's finished and at capacity, they'll have a going concern valued in the high eight figures, so there's that.

The Louisville Orchestra plays the Home Alone soundtrack live every year during The Nutcracker. It's great.

Max, you do realize that is last year's Hater's Guide. 2016 is coming this week. That was hilarious. I might make some of those bacon date fig things on my own though. (for less than $49.95)

* Wildcat Willy powered by Monster Energy Zero Sugar Zero Calories Ultra Black and a cup of coffee.

* What a gloomy, ****** day. wcc is probably loving it.

* This morning's soundtrack provided by Rod Stewart's Greatest Hits. A lot of good stuff, but too much awful slow crap that I have to skip.

* Last night took a few slices of leftover smoked meatloaf, mashed taters & gravy, a slice of swiss and a few pieces of bread and make the ultimate leftover panini.

* I have so much work to do, I don't know where to start. So I'm touching around on here instead.

* If anyone wants a new Tundra, I suggest you go to Dry Ridge Toyota and register to win one.

8 people total will have a chance to win. One from each of the 6 Cincinnati/N KY Toyota Dealerships, 1 was selected at RedsFest last weekend and one will be selected outside of Reds Opening Day.

Each of the 8 people will win 2 tickets to Opening Day, plus 1 of the 8 will win a brand new Toyota Tundra Double Cab. The winner will be drawn at Opening Day. It could be you!

* One Christmas show that I used to like but now hate is Scrooged. It's terrible.

* Jim Bob Cooter turned into quite the OC.

The Grinch with Jim Carey sucks

It really is awful. But Cindy Lou Who grew up to be a pretty good singer and she likes to get partially naked and act like a slut that I would like to know carnally. So that movie will always have a special place in my heart.

Worse kid:

- kid who ruins Santa for the rest of their class

OR

- first kid in class to get a phone, leading all other kids to demand one

From Nick Roush on KSR:

Sources tell KSR Petrino used the same signals vs. Kentucky that he used while Thomas was on Louisville’s staff.

Normally I would attribute this kind of thing to "LOL YOU'RE COACH DUMB" but with Bob I think it can be attributed to pure unbridled arrogance. Why bother changing signals if you have no doubt you're going to win?

I hate Home Alone. The kids love it, though, so I inevitably end up watching it at least once a season. Kevin is just such an irritating little ****, largely because of MacCauley Culkin's terrible over-acting. And I'm supposed to accept that some 8 year old kid suddenly turns into MacGyver and is able to rig up all these booby traps with astonishing efficiency and effectiveness? Oh, and then he cleans everything up before his parents get home? GTFO.

I remember watching Scrooged as a 7 year old with my uncle in a movie theatre in New York and him absolutely howling throughout, drawing lots of bad looks and shushes. Love that movie to this day because of it. Made my wife watch it last year for the first time and she thought it was "meh" but she's an idiot like Willy so it doesn't matter.

A christmans story sucks now, I've watched it way too many times, can't even stomach watching more than 5 minutes of it now.

Let's be honest, college football coaches aren't the brightest people on the planet, so it doesn't shock me when they make these basic errors.

They're essentially fake generals of fake armies fighting fake battles. They're two steps above the fat nerd playing Civ 5 in his Mom's basement. Only they get paid 5 million dollars a year, have a license to treat those around them like complete ****, and because they make the University money and people love to watch the game, they have a ridiculously heightened sense of self-importance.

So it's really no surprise when coaches do asinine things like not changing signals, investing in ponzi schemes, and say stupid **** into a microphone like when Mike Jarvis said the NCAA declaring Erik Barkley ineligible for a game made him feel like someone had broken into his house and raped him.

I'm a sucker for Die Hard.

Really appreciate the protagonist needing to find shoes before being able to complete his quest.
