My FIL pronounces it the same way, so I go ahead and intentionally say Scotch-Irish instead of Scots-Irish whenever the opportunity presents itself.

He also cuts his wheels the wrong way on the hill in front of our house. So I find the use of this racial slur against my wife's parents to be more than justified.

The best part is I assume Indiana will be coming back to Fort Wayne every other year in perpetuity, because this is a great rivalry and good for the game. What a great atmosphere that was.
