Thanksgiving food is fine, but man, there is something special about the Thursday night leftover turkey sandwich on white bread with cranberry sauce, mayo and some stuffing. Wash it down with some brown water, watch a Christmas flick and rub my disgusting swollen gut before drifting off into some couch sleep.

Franksgiving lol:) Friday night with our traditional Mexican food overload. Margaritas, guac, enchiladas molé. #muyagradecido

Glad to see Adrian coming around to the undisputed champion of holidays.

Is Charlie strongs affair the least cared about public affair of all time? NOBODY mentions it when they talk about him. And that's fine. Just kinda interesting.

Amazon prime has changed the game for Santa Claus. Not sure how our parents did it. Going out, finding everything on the list, bringing it home, hiding that ****, all in total secrecy. That's pretty damn amazing. I can't even sneak off to dq to get a blizzard after bedtime without my little hooligans finding out and shaming me. Nowadays, UPS man brings an inconspicuous box, toss it up at the top of the closet and no one knows a thing. Too easy.

Friday is my one year anniversary at my job. First job where I actually get a monetary bonus based on performance so I'm pretty excited for that $20 gift card to Home Depot. Speaking of Home Depot, my moms husband pronounces it "Home Deppo" and it makes me want to hurl him off a bridge

Call me crazy, but I thought we did drink the champagne after the birth of George? Granted it wasn't right after he was born, but it was in the hospital during the steak dinner St. Joe's provides. I think I drank about 1 ounce.
We did not. We discussed it.

Anth lying about not chugging champagne to try and fit his new "I'm the most responsible person of all time" narrative lol, k.

You drank it.

-Pat's sucks.
Ok, pal. I just spent a paragraph saying I've brought booze into a hospital several times and even brought a split of champagne in the maternity ward. We did discuss it but we brought it back home. Go back to boozing and wacking, it's TUESDAY!!

Trying to do the mental hurdles to arrive at the conclusion that a trainer helping a few Notre Dame players commit academic fraud is worse than a school setting up a system for UNC players to do the same over years and years. My head hurts.

Although it is a waste of time to try to reconcile NCAA actions, this cannot be viewed as good for UNC, especially since the NCAA told UNC to take their response to NOA and stick it .

-Honestly most of it is a blur. I had come home from a fairly long day at work, found sloot in the middle of the floor, then 18 hours later had a kid, no sleep, visiting family, light sleep that evening b/c all kinds of racket and getting up every 20 minutes to make sure the little guy was still breathing or to feed him. Sounds very different than Rich's experience. The steak was a nice thought but I think it was boiled, and I really don't recall eating much of it. Maybe I did.

-St. Joe was nice, would def recommend. Baptist looked WAF when I visited the Proofs for J's birth. Only real issue was the meth heads and other ruffians clogging up the hall way, free loading, smoking, etc. Unfortunately from my limited sample size it appears they're coming in at a 4:1 rate vs the quality fams.

I'm not body language ball, but one guy looks worried, one guy looks just happy to be there, and one guy is in control of a situation.

Didn't sleep much. A light sleeper in general & the nurses kept coming in and out. It's not like I kicked my feet up for 72 hours straight and crushed 30 domestos.

Did my job well and did everything that was asked & then some. The lass was fortunate enough to have a smooth pregnancy. She's also a pediatrician so she knows a lot what to do & how to handle certain situations.

Also, not apologizing for having 3 ice cold Miller Lites post pregnancy with my old man. They were delicious.

They call that sous vide you ungrateful redneck.

Lol I had to google to make sure I spelled it right, and first article pops up "is America ready for sous vide?". Man, I have no idea. I guess we better be. I'm concerned now. What can I do to help my country prepare for sous vide?

-At Baptist and St. Joe that ratio isn't far from accurate. At UK? Probably 10:1. In Milwaukee I'm not exaggerating by saying it was at least 25:1. If you're anti-abortion, anti-free birth control, etc…. go hang out in the maternity ward at your local teaching hospital. You'll change your mind by the end of the day. Sad when you see a single mother with no support starting to realize"oh f*** this is really happening." On the flip side, seeing a new dad lose it and start bawling with joy at the birth of his kid gets me every time.

-Baptist is all brand new, wife delivers there. Joe's is fine, but they'll start feeling pressure to upgrade now that the hens are all going to be talking about how nice Baptist is. It's an arms race.

-Saw a full keg in the patient's bath tub once. They used one of the wheelchairs for the pregnant patients to wheel it up on the elevator. As long as you aren't hurting or threatening anyone, L&D nurses will generally look the other way and let you celebrate however you want. Also saw tons of weed in Milwaukee. Like, I'm surprised I never caught anyone lighting up in the room. There were also families that insisted on all being there for the delivery… parents, grandparents, cousins, siblings… all peering in with their cell phones out videoing, yelling and cheering with the mom-to-be fully on display… that was a sight to behold.
