Only holdup is in-home privacy...my wife is on her phone pretty much nonstop, and don't really like the idea of being watched all the time. That would just feel weird imo. She'll think that's fun watching the dogs and such, and be on it all the damn time, zero doubt in my mind about that.

Wodie needs a safe space to fap.

Among other things. Mostly concerned about Tuesdays tbh. Don't need any guilt shaming when I'm walking around naked slamming bourbons and skeeting all over the place at noon, and don't want questions as to why I turn the system off from 11:45am-9pm.

-Only issue with wireless is battery life. The one chase posted gets good reviews but at $800+ for cameras you may want to get a quote from a few pros. I know a lot of the communication companies are getting into that stuff. vivint, att, etc. Ours are set up to monitor the entire perimeter and all 3 doors and stored on and offsite. You'll obviously need a baby monitor cam but other than that or facing entries I wouldn't put cams through the interior of your house, that's very weird. Vivint works with alexa although I have no idea how cams would function with it.

-Jason's Deli yesterday got me all jacked up. I just wish this year would end.

People without babies obviously need a baby monitor cam? Disagree.

Haven't been to Jason's in a few years, but that's definitely a top 5 Gorge place if you're in the mood to kill yourself with food.

-Alexa seems amazing. She can play a song or tell you the weather by voice command (just like anyone's phone)! :fire::fire::fire::fire:[eyeroll][eyeroll][eyeroll]

-Entering "last day of the year for me!!" season. [eyeroll]

Never understood the folks that can call it a year before December 15th (at the EARLIEST). That's my cut off.

Want to take a week (or maybe 2) at Christmas? Sure. Need to burn a couple vacation days mid-December that don't rollover? Absolutely. But taking anymore than 2 weeks at Christmas is excessive. The F outta here.

-Hosting Thanksgiving Thursday for my family. One of those moments when I realize that I may, actually, be a grown man. I feel like I should still be at the kids table most Holidays...

-Cards by many points tonight, gang. Don't get your hopes up.

-82 days without a smoke. Haven't had a soft drink since March. On New Year's Eve I think I'll look back on my year and be proud of those two accomplishments.

-Considering looking into going back to school part time and getting my accounting degree. Not sure if it's even possible, though. I took a bunch of accounting courses for my finance degree, and think it would be more worthwhile (for me) than a masters. I don't know. Can't shake the feeling that I didn't accomplish enough academically in my life, and an accounting degree would open a lot of stuff up for me in my line of work. We'll see.

-Bowl eligibility is nigh. :eyes:

-Although we'd probably face an interim head coach, wouldn't mind a shot at embarrassing old Cholly Strong in a bowl. We owe that sumbitch.

I mean I fully expect UL to salt the Earth with Houston tonight. Perfect storm of chips on shoulders and whatnot.
Combine all that rage from the PLAYOFF SNUB with the fact that opposing teams are apparently just leaving playbooks around UL's facilities i mean its gonna be a bloodbath.

He is going to be able to watch basketball that first week. What's he going to do, just sit there and stare at the baby 24/7?

I mean, it's not going to be like it is now for him, but when the kid is first born, you can watch a lot of TV. Now, fast forward a couple years when they are running wild, banging on pots and pans, eating play-doh, throwing toys in the toilet, and rubbing **** in the dog's hair, then it becomes more difficult.

Experienced my first game in NYC this week. I had never watched the Cats outside of Rupp other than the 2011 Final Four (I was a student then, damn). First time to New York, as well. I've been to Chicago several times, and even though I know that New York is larger, it is so overwhelming compared to Chicago. For my take, Chicago > NYC.

Ended up with some nice lower levels at MSG. A casual St. Johns/Hofstra fan from Long Island was next to me. He made some small talk about Kentucky basketball and how he likes to follow them, yayaya. I tried not to fully engage in conversation, but once I did, it was over. Talked and talked and talked. When I would clap, he would look at me and clap along. When I would b!tch, he would do the same. Felt like a toddler that was playing copy-cat.

I got on high after buying those tickets that I also bought the Vegas tickets too. First time to Vegas as well. The girlfriend tagged along to NYC, but college roomie is headed to Vegas with me.

Where's Chad?

If your employer pays for further education, and you have the time to do it, i'd jump back in there.

Would be cool to spend your Saturday afternoons catching up on homework or playing frisbee on the Quad. Maybe hit up the occasional protest on campus. Easy choice, imo.

With the prospect of a large salary looming, I still had some academia guilt and applied for a moderately competitive 1 year fellowship. Part of me (subconsciously?) didn't want to grow up and take a real job, I'm sure.

Sort of relieved when I found out I didn't get it, actually.

And now one of the groups I'm considering is partnering with a high level MBA program to offer healthcare administration courses and of course I've been asked to consider it. Sort of hate myself at times, because I think I want to. o_O

-Accounting is the one area I do regret not giving more f*cks about. Certainly they only subject that is still relevant every single day of my life. Can't be talking many classes to add on an accounting degree if you're already a finance major. Why would a future high profile marketing director need accounting? lol. Being young, drunk and naive was fun.

Do it. Seriously. Earnings potential for Drs with MBAs is ridiculous. If MBA is in Healthcare admin even more so.

Speaking from a position of knowledge, of course.

To double major with accounting/finance it was only 4 extra classes.

Other than cost accounting and managerial accounting nothing else is useful. I really can not imagine having a solid paying career right now and sitting in auditing 101 for an extra degree.

With all the doors my prestigious marketing/management double major opened for me as I casually dropped that nugget in conversation, the thought of going back to school never crossed my mind.

I was in school for 14 years and have 4 degrees, 3 of which are pretty much completely useless. I had no idea what the hell I wanted to do in life but luckily I went to four different schools all across the country so it ended being a fun way to travel the country. I've been done with school now for 2 years and still have a dream monthly that the final for the class I'm in is tomorrow and I HAVEN'T EVEN STUDIED I DIDN'T KNOW THIS CLASS WAS ON MY SCHEDULE WTF!! I'm usually shook up for a good 10 minutes after waking up from it. :cool2:
