Not sure how Anth even sees from his seats tbh, maybe one day he'll get down there with Huber, Tom, Harris, and the Beans.

I would kill for Anth's seats and having the ability to go to every game at Rupp. I'm pretty much a scrub that relies on business partners and buddies to invite me. I aspire to one day reach an Anth like level but very doubtful I'll ever make it.

My biggest concerns from last nights game was lack of defense in the low post, we seemed to be out worked for rebounds on both ends of the floor by much smaller guys, and I saw Bam get boxed out and pushed around while on defense many times. Not sure if he was trying to stay out of foul trouble last night, but I was expecting Bam to be more of a #BeastMode type player. Still had a solid double double but I'm a UK fan, I have to ***** about something.

Briscoe this year is so much better than Briscoe of last year.

I totally agree that Fox is better than Wall was at this point as freshmen at UK. So FAST, such great vision directing the offense, and LOVE how he finishes at the rim.

Love Gabriel's motor but wish he wouldn't be satisfied with taking longer jumpers. Take that ish to the hole. Also he may have skinnier legs than Perry Stevenson.

Love Willis and Hawkins. Hate this is their last year.

Got some free lowers to the game on Friday. Took my wife for a rare night out just the 2 of us. We stayed until halftime and then gave our tickets to her dad who was sitting in the nose bleeds with her 11 year old brother. Went to Longhorns - local steakhouse, kind of a West World vibe to the place. Went with a half rack of ribs and a "loaded" sweet potato. It was full of butter, brown sugar and cinnamon. Washed it down with a water and a "Longhorns Old Fashioned". Bourbon drink with an orange garnish. Overall a very pleasing meal.

I watched about 45 seconds of the football game. Oldest had a baseball game and then I came home and found other **** to do

Christmas tree is up. Hi haters. Won't put my outdoor lights up until Black Friday but I love having my tree up during wildcat basketball season. Just feels so warm and inviting. Adrian has my back on this.

Speaking of Adrian - my man has the best job in the thread. Dudes boss ASKED him to take off on a Friday because - get this - he's worked the last few Fridays in a row!! Dude. My man. That's awesome. Enjoy your day.

Heading to Gatlinburg Saturday after thanksgiving. Looking forward to it. Never been during the holidays. Town probably looks unreal from the top of the sky lift. Will post pictures on my various social media accounts.

Was there this weekend, as redneck and tacky Gatlinburg is you'd have to be pretty miserable to not enjoy it lit up and decorated for Christmas. Your kids will love it.

Appreciate their contribution & place, and Rubin is a genius -- but yeah, I hate their music (with only a few exceptions) -- always have.

5th day of cutting back on soda (100%) and snacks/fast food. Felt like I was about to die yesterday at 5pm. Literally wanted to fall asleep in the middle of the afternoon without the artificial high.

I GOT THIS!!

Coffee. Lots of coffee. You'll feel great in a few days.

I'm about to get strict for a couple weeks. Need to drop 10 with the quickness. Just finished a brutal stretch of our neurotrauma ICU. Long days + depressing patients = FAT!

Secured our Derby Tickets again for the upcoming year. I always at some point say we are just going to take a break from going, typically comes on the monday following Derby when I feel like complete dogshit, but its too good of a time to pass up and there are a ton of folks down here who want to go to cross of their list of events. Not going to attempt Oaks/Derby back to back again.

Paul Revere FTMFW

Was asked about teaching 1-2 classes this spring as an adjunct, but I really dont know if I want to even mess with it anymore. The money is pretty good but I dont have the patience with students that I used to.

We tried Blue Apron last week... meh. Thought the meals were fine, but wont stick with it too long. Also we cancelled our grocery delivery service bc I kind of like going to the grocery and sometimes I dont even know what we need until i see it in the aisles. Also that is the time i usually get a bag of skittles during checkout.

Christmas decorations will go up this week I assume. Just in time for us to be gone from the house for the next 6 weeks. [eyeroll]

[laughing] that a 4 star guard committing this morning barely registers a blip here. 10 years ago we are losing our **** over the kid. Plus Shai Alexander is a pretty dope basketball name.

I understand that, but we really have no need to recruit projects. I feel like someone he trusts saw him play, so he offered, and now he secretly wants to punch whoever that was in the face.

I have no problem with Wynyard, it's just really strange having him for seemingly no reason at all. He's almost like Eddie Murphy in Trading Places and Cal is one of the Duke brothers.

The pipeline to global basketball domination via the far east, as Cal spoke about nearly a decade ago, begins in New Zealand. Thought that was pretty evident, Chase.

ESPN obviously sucks with 93% of their content but their short stories they do with Vice Sports are pretty good. The one about Cuban baseball players was awesome. Average salary for a *big* Cuban baseball star is about $17/month. The dudes they interviewed at the beginning of the feature talked about only staying home out of family loyalty, etc etc... by the end of the doc they had disappeared and gone into hiding, lol.

He means it's like Cal placed a bet with somebody that he can take a random joe off the street and turn him into a UK basketball player.

(Or that Wynyard is actually a homeless black guy.)

Because you're stupid, Phil.

Eddie Murphy = unsuspecting hobo with no business on Wallstreet

Wynyard = unsuspecting hobo with no business playing basketball at UK

Duke brother = bet you $1 we could hire anyone and they'd succeed.

Cal = bet you $1 I could give a scholarship to anyone and get them drafted.

De'Aaron Fox for All American.

Sage Steele throwing shade at Mike Evans was an unexpected treat today. Too bad she's an IU grad.

I feel like Wynyard will end up being the most popular bartender at the Hamburg Outback Steakhouse.

Roosters for the game last night. Not the greatest of anything, but lots of TVs, plenty of seating, good draft selection, and a good varied menu. Wedge salad, blackened chicken sandwich, and plenty of Shotgun Wedding to keep me company.

Went to a bonfire party on Saturday night. Amazing house spoiled by the host's U of L fandom. Sent the old Zillow listing to the wife so she could marvel, too.

Brendan Dassey is getting out of prison today.

There is some nostalgia to my dad taking us out in the woods, cutting down an evergreen with his chainsaw, us dragging it back to the house without destroying it, then setting it in a 5-gallon bucket of cement.

Then, the day after Christmas, throwing it in a ditch or creek, bucket and all.
