I wonder how the hardcore, down on the farm Hoosier fans feel about this lack of honkey.

They just said IU and KU haven't played in over 20 years. That's surprising. I know they played in the 93 elite 8, Calbert Cheaney's last game. Wonder if that was the last meeting.

*I think Bam is actually a pretty good free throw shooter.

*Couldnt disagree more about Monk, other than he'll be frustrating at times, especially early. But low basketball IQ? I think he's supposed to have the opposite, tbh.

Agree with Chase. Bam is a great FT shooter, and Monk is LBJ Jr.

Also agree that SKJ >>>> Gabriel. Cal is an idiot.

Bryant looks like a lottery pick.

Monk will be fine. Geez, give him more than one game before determining his bball smarts.

I was about to remark how awful UNC's unis were before realizing they were Tulane's.

Maybe he's terrible, I honestly don't know. Seems like in a couple of those all stars games they mentioned him being decent at the line, but I could've been high. A little early to call for hack a Shaq after one half of basketball, though.

Can't wait for Chad's upcoming OJ Anunoby love post...he's already kinda had one...

...when I got BLASTED for being an IU homer ([laughing]) for touting his 3* *** early last year as a guaranteed future star, while he was averaging 4ppg as a casual reserve. Sorry not Sorry I watch every IU and UofL game and report back objectively while you guys are catching up on sitcoms. #collegebasketball

-Joshie Jackson is struggling...

Welp, I've convinced my cousin to "disengage from Facebook for a while" after her "crash course in learning and rethinking over the past few days."

I wont post the death blows for fear of sparking political discussions, but suffice it to say they were pretty juicy!

He will play eight guys when it matters; tonight's starters plus Gabriel, Humphries, and Hawkins.

Yup and from January to early March, Hawkins will average about 5 minutes a game so Monk and Gabriel can get those minutes to develop. Come tourney time, however, Hawkins will still be there to steady the ship off the bench. Love that kid. It will be a little a dusty on Senior Night, for sure.

* Gabriel's haircut makes him look about 5% more clumsy. The guy looks like a newborn colt anyway, all elbows and knees. That hair swinging around makes him look even more out of control.

Love his game and the versatility it gives us.

* I liked Willis directing the offense from the top of the key in the halfcourt. With his skill set, height, and speed, he's a tough cover out there when he gets to direct traffic. It screws with the other team's defense too because they have to commit which defender they are going to put on him, causing mismatches elsewhere.

* It won't ever happen, but I wouldn't be opposed to experimenting with a starting line-up of Fox, Briscoe, Willis, Bam, and Humphries and swapping Monk for Humphries at the first timeout like Tubby did in 2003 with Estill and Hawkins. The instant swap of speed for size could wreck havoc. As said, though, Cal won't hurt Monk's draft status.

* Tom Crean probably drinks Dom with his french toast, too. UKO is such a putz.

* College basketball. [banana]

* Touch Rocky Top.

- Don't worry, CBB writers will be there to pick up the 0-2 Fighting Selfs. What a job Self has done to get these guys ready for March <------ narrative.

- #iubb still heavily relies on the 3. Some questionable shots went down, but they have some really good skill players. What are they going to do when they are off? Can they get a stop when it matters?

- Embrace Wenyen, fellas. He and his haircut are going to be our x-factor. He's everything we wanted Pee to develop into.

- Pancake breakfast fundraiser on tap. Thanks, Applebee's!

- Have that weird Charlie Brown feeling about this morning's American football contest in Knoxville. I've been here before and I haven't learnt.

- Saturday Morning Post Champ!

Here's a link to our charter logo if anyone wants to critique it or don't bother if you give no touchs.

Really enjoyed sitting at home last night and watching college ball, even with all the hussies out for the power boat parade.
The black structure on the boat looks like one of those asian archways that lead to pagodas - especially in front of the sun like that. Change that or serve egg rolls on your voyages if you don't want to dissapoint.

Shift the top bar of it to the right. From the centerline of the two support columns, the ratio of front overhang to rear overhang should be approximately 1:1.618. That will feel inherently good to people who see if (without recognizing why.)

I like that he and Willis don't appear to be mutually exclusive. They work well playing off each other thus far, but that may change as the competition gets bigger and more skilled.

-Gabriel looks like he's in a perpetual state of falling down but the kid doesn't lack confidence.

-Was Monk fading on those preseason jumpers like he was last night? Also, be forewarned -> I traded Fox to BBdk for Monk this summer and for good reason. He needs some to shut up the haters. Already creeping out of the woodwork. Tread lightly.

-Fox = My Godness. That may have been the most impressive opening game for a Cal PG since he's been here. How is a guy that tall and lanky move so silky smooth? It's like he's on ice skates. If that's his level of play now... I don't know 3 better PGs in the country. Only real critique is chilling out on the poke away attempts that will certainly get him some cheap fouls.

-Bam/SKJ/Monk all hit freshman lights on jitters.

-If Mulder is shooting like that he's going to be on the court. Can play less than 10 minutes and still be really effective. Plays D, boards, spot up. He and Dom can basically split a role depending on what we need. Dom the D stopper and Mulder the zone breaker.

-What an interesting team. Don't know that we've really had anything like this under Cal. I do like the piece seem to be pretty interchangeable. Weird team... in a really good way and much better than I was thinking. Came into the season a little worried.

-IU and UL are top 8 teams. Unfortunately. IU will be fine if they go cold. They have 2 great inside players. Where they suck is D and I wonder how they'l react when they look for Yogi and he's not there. Regardless, hell of a win. I think KU may be a little overrated, they're not good inside and that means they're relying on Mason/Graham which would scare the piss out of me. Be interesting to see how Self handles Jackson.

-Tony's cooks steak to the right temp about 25% of the time. Starting to really piss me off. Everything else is great but, ****.

I'm a medium rare type of dude, but here lately, I'll always order rare. It seems most places, including Ruby's/Flemings, Sizzler, mostly over cook.

Need a place to make medium rare steaks great again, really.

* So you ordered rare and it came out rare? I wouldn't stand for that.

* I thought Dom really struggled last night. Wasn't good on either end of the floor.

* Mulder should've played a little more, probably.

* Fox is just fun to watch.

* Willis, Briscoe, iZack, Dom and Mulder are a nice group to mix with our SuperFrosh.

* I like my team.

* I've got a bad feeling we're gonna get boat raced today.

* Chief, please sell all of your other shares and invest heavily in STFU. No need to reply, TIA.

* Tommy, McRib season is upon us. Enjoy.

Thanks joey, preciate the input. We had talked about the Asian look of it as well. Probably have her straighten the bars.

As far as the T Top, you're saying the right side should extend further than the left or vice versa? I've read plenty about the golden rule with the Parthenon and all that.
