It sounds like they're playing in Chicago. Apparently the Reds outdrew Cleveland by 200K this year. Be better, Cleveland.

Well, they technically were. AL Pennant and such.

As much as I hate the Cubs, congrats to the diehards who have suffered for so long. Like being a UK Football fan, it takes a short memory and a strong stomach. And being a sucker for punishment, but no need to go there after tonight.

Welcome to modernity, Cubbies. Just please handle it better than Red Sox fans.

Well, that was intense. I can confirm that was the most wound up I've ever been in a non-UK game. THAT felt like a UK tourney game and not like a 2007 year tourney game or a 2015 tourney game, but I'd put it with the 2014 tourney. The biggest difference is probably that there's no way I would've worked if it were UK. Scheduled or not...sorry boss I won't be there tonight*.

*I schedule off for UK games so I wouldn't be in that situation.

-Was way out in front of how this would play out. Clark mocked me for my concern coming home up 3-2, but it was fools' gold with Arrietta and Hendricks coming up and tired Tomlin/Kluber on the hill. Plus, the Cubs' bats were due.

The Cubs still would've won, because they're the better team, but man, I wish Carrasco/Salazar hadn't been injured so late in the season. Would've changed the entire complexion of what Francona would/could have done with that rotation and the bullpen.

Could very well be these two again next year. Cubs bring back nearly everyone, as do the Indians, who add Brantley(their second-best player), Gomes, and the aforementioned starters. Would be fun to do the whole thing again.

-DIAF, Chase.
