-Was way out in front of how this would play out. Clark mocked me for my concern coming home up 3-2, but it was fools' gold with Arrietta and Hendricks coming up and tired Tomlin/Kluber on the hill. Plus, the Cubs' bats were due.
The Cubs still would've won, because they're the better team, but man, I wish Carrasco/Salazar hadn't been injured so late in the season. Would've changed the entire complexion of what Francona would/could have done with that rotation and the bullpen.
Could very well be these two again next year. Cubs bring back nearly everyone, as do the Indians, who add Brantley(their second-best player), Gomes, and the aforementioned starters. Would be fun to do the whole thing again.
