My wife's grandmother died Sunday, funeral this week -- and amazingly, that doesn't hold a candle to the real tragedy of the house.

She lost her 'journal', left it in a cart at some store. Completely out of character for her to lose anything, but apparently I had no idea how important this thing was. Kept everything from to-do lists, to little 'diary' type entries from our trips, gift cards, financial info (no acct #s or anything) -- "My entire life", according to her.

She has cried tears for 3 days and running now about this, it's completely ruined her life so I'm told, and making in-roads on mine if this keeps up too much longer.

I don't hate Clark, he hates me because I posted a poorly photoshopped picture of him with Lorde on this board and he lost his damn ****. I think he's a nice guy who's just super stressed all the time.

Like I've said before, my dad was a native Chicagoan and cubs fan so I'm pulling for them despite the fact that I don't consider myself "a cubs fan". But I think the biggest reason I'm pulling for them is because it'd be INTERESTING if they won. More storyline and history if I get to witness this. Pretty much how I root for all sporting events that don't involve UK and to a lesser extent the Reds.

My bad. I thought you hated him. I should be more understanding of him, then.

Sorry, Clark.

Rooting for the Cubs. It's been long enough. But a small piece of me wants to see it ripped from their grasp in Game 7.

Cawood and Boat.

Never mind, that's really all I need to type. Everyone else will understand.

I dont hate BRax, I just didnt really want photo's of me on the internet in a forum where who knows what kind of comments are being made, during a time when i was dealing with multiple work related federal lawsuits.

Yes I have spent most of my adult life way more stressed than any one person should. Probably shouldve chosen a different line of work.

Lorde had no right to bring those imo.

You ever read this thing? Do you wonder what she writes about you in her journal? Now it's just out in the wild somewhere, no telling who has it, or what information they have now. Man. Puppies.

DEVELOPING:

I am apparently having breakfast with Rex Chapman on Friday morning with a small group of community leaders. So GYERO, I ask you:

Should I get sausage patties or bacon?

Either will work. The important thing is to set a bottle of pain pills next to your plate facing him and watch him twitch.

Oh, and don't leave your iPhone unguarded.

Dear Diary,

today was tough. i caught my husband playing with himself and watching pron. AGAIN. this is getting so old.

went downstairs this morning to play solitaire on the computer, and big sausage pizza popped up on the screen. that is so disgusting.

laptop crashed today. gee i wonder why. ugh.

been really curious about bbdk's web usage lately so i decided to search the browser history, and of course it was deleted. obviously he's hiding his pron addiction.

evidently he and his friend jerry watch some video called "granny mud f***." this is so awful.

tried to get onto the laptop today and the screen was covered in milk. my husband said he was lactose intolerant. what a liar. i'm going to kill him.

if every single video he watches is interracial, then is he even attracted to me anymore??

How in tf did he replace Oscar Combs as the official big blue pregame guy? That will be unlistenable unless he puts on his professional face like he did when he was with NBAtv or whatever. He was good/mature at that, but he's a fn goofball idiot with everything BBN, and I'm not going to enjoy listening to his cheesy crap. Especially coupled with goofball idiot MJ. Man. F Mitch.

Lessons I have learned from the Good Doc this week in GYERO:
  1. While it may be funny to joke about, it is not appropriate to actually **** in someone's driveway based solely on internet comments.

  2. When it comes to Wildcat greats, we should accept apologies and move on.

  3. Something about wedding fashion that I skimmed over because it was boring.

If you would have told 15 year old me that as a 40 year old adult, I would be having breakfast with a small group of people interacting with Rex, I would have started the countdown clock to this moment right then.

Things happen and people change, though.

But it is a free breakfast, so, I mean. . .

The stuff that SAE mentioned still sticks with me too. Honestly, I never should have followed him on Twitter. He was the worst follow ever. Cut him off about 3 years ago after the Cal to the Lakers rumor. I think he is claiming to be a "changed" man (ie, Born Again), so I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. And I can't lie, I'm a little excited. You can't go back in time and change who your childhood heroes are.
