I'd say growing up in Cabrini-Green qualifies me to be a diehard Cubs fan. My parents, James and Florida, barely kept their heads above water, and made waves when they could, but that didn't stop them from instilling a love of the Cubs in the family. I remember Mad Dog, Sweetpea, Neck Bone, and I would sneak onto the red line and head up to Wrigley just to stand outside the stadium and listen to the sounds of the games being played. So, I'd say I earned my Cubs fandom.

Spoke with someone who owns a house on Hillcrest Ave here in Louisville. They spend on average 375.00 every year on Halloween decorations to partake on the street long stretch of Halloween crap.
