Poythress to the Magic, for summer league. Would be awesome if he could make the squad, but I just do not see it.

Baker got a partially guaranteed deal with the Knicks. Many other undrafted guys signing guaranteed deals today -- much better option than getting drafted mid-late 2nd and being stashed, in most cases/ Get to pick your situation, etc -- most of the guys signing deals turned down multiple draft opportunities.

Andrew ---> Drafted and stashed
Aaron -----> Undrafted and signed a deal on a roster he could make

Been awhile, but the Wildcat Wings at Campus Pub were legit. Can't ever go wrong with Winchell's especially with the smoked jalapeno sauce, and the smoked wings over at Double H bbq arent bad either...especially for fifty cent day on Wednesday.

Hopefully Miller gets back here to the league with his last couple years performance overseas. Surely someone will take notice and get him back on a roster.

I know he got paid, but could there be a worse place/organization for Skal to get lost in? That place is a mess.

Kyle Wiltjer could probably give a team exactly what Mike Miller could give them NOW.

I'm smoking some wings tonight and doing everything in my power to be left alone to my own devices (hat tip to Rich and SAE).

WATER has to deal with NANU and MEGA. He was so scared of MEGA he moved back home to the Pacific Northwest. Good luck to him trying to compete with those 2 beasts.

So much for last night putting a damper on Cal's recruiting. Looks like he's found an effective spin.

The scout SI interviewed said Wiltjer was the worst athlete he's EVER seen. I'm surprised by the Rockets deal. That guy has Euro star written all over him, imo. It's possible he could earn more over there than he does here.

Halal Guys opened today downtown. I'm not even gonna eat it, just gonna smear it all over my face, jerk off on a gyro, snort some white sauce....and then send BBdK a snapchat of the whole thing.

Got a gd wedding tomorrow. Ugh. Not sure there will be much talent there to peruse.

Matt Bullard played 9 seasons and made $8.5 million. That's my all time "the NBA is really weird" example.

I've worn out the discussion about not understanding why Brad Stevens is wasting his time coaching the Celtics. But last night they had 3 first round picks, and ended up with Jaylen Brown, Guerschon Yabusele, and Ante Zizic. Really?? If they don't crush free agency, my suspicions are confirmed. Wasting away.

So my beloved Pelicans could have had Murray or Heild, and passed on the Kentuckian?? Damn. Poor AD really needs some help.

Skal is just collecting undeserved money, then he'll move overseas. Whatever.

MEGA.... What a clown. Cauley Stein grabbing that lose ball his at midcourt, taking 3 dribbles and cramming it while MEGA slipped and fell on the floor was an awesome moment. And the stare down on the way back was an added bonus.

We continually punk these jokers.

That's the school's all time leader in dunks you're talking about there, pal.

* I have to try harder about stuff like this, but a few of the national guys last night - the same dudes as always - were hitting my Billy Joe Wildcat button by not being able to hide how giddy they were about Skal dropping in the first round. His crime was being bad at basketball and people were reveling as if he was that Oklahoma football player who punched that woman's head off.

* Nothing worse than seeing that last dude in the green room waiting and waiting. Davis and Izzo wound up leaving but I felt like a bunch of teams in the last 1st round should have picked him. Rashard Lewis is still the saddest green room guy.

* Still waiting for a team to take an international player, they send it over to Fran Fraschilla and Fran's like "yo, this guy can't even walk, much less play basketball." Every international guy is awesome. Hope we've enjoyed winning these gold medals. We're boned for the next 3-4 Olympics.

* Tyler Ulis will play. Cheick Diallo will not. This is how I feel good about Diallo being picked before Ulis. Otherwise...man, that sucks. If your graphic says "Must Improve: HEIGHT", what can you even do?

* More BJW coming out here: Why was Jamal Murray the only lottery guy to get a "here's why he's not good" video montage? There's video out there of Ben Simmons mentally checking out of ballgames. Even Skal got a friendlier montage than Murray. That's a steal pick at 7 and Denver will be able to hide him on defense because it will be Emmanuel Mudiay guarding all those elite PGs anyway.

* Thon Maker and I almost could have gone to high school together. I graduated in 2004.

* Glad the Knicks didn't do anything in this draft. Can't imagine what crazy thing they would have tried.

Luuuke, Marra, and Stephen are all members at my club. Luke & Mike can both play a little, nice dudes -- out there 7 days a week, it seems. Stephen just started playing, pretty hilarious watching that 6-9 doofus swing a golf club.

I always get a kick out of when something from "Clean up Phoenix Park" pops up on Facebook from 80 reacting to it. Whoever runs that page HATES homeless people and is always outside taking pictures of them.

If I had to guess I'd say it's the guy who lives in Park Plaza I always see pushing his dog in a stroller.

I rarely play 18 but I've been getting swings in. Played full round last Saturday and did well. But its almost impossible to find 3-4 hours to play. So I end playing 4-5 holes...usually with the kids.

Momma's are the best here.
Yes. Cumberland's are solid. Lex has Winhcell's and Harry's will work in a pinch.

Ron Baker yet another example of the Anth Proclamation that you leave as soon as you can. Dude was getting 1st round love as a soph...now undrafted.

Yep. You go as soon as you can get into the first round in 99% of the cases.

I know he got paid, but could there be a worse place/organization for Skal to get lost in? That place is a mess.
Whatever Skal does he has 2 million extra dollars to make that decision easier. Not too disappointed with Kings actually. Hoping Cousins will get him some toughness. Draft last night was laughable. Joshie was right about one thing, it was an all time awful class.

Matt Bullard played 9 seasons and made $8.5 million. That's my all time "the NBA is really weird" example.

-Like most jobs, if you work hard, do what you're supposed to and aren't a distraction then mix in a little talent you can do very well for yourself. Tons of examples of guys sticking around the league for way longer than anyone would have guessed. From UK -> Hayes, Padgett, Nazr. Patterson falling into that mode although I think he's more talented than that group. Great dudes, ok with taking a back seat and doing the little things.

-Stevenson is with one of the historic franchises. From literally anyone that has ever covered him the NBA is where he will be for the rest of his career(if he has any say). Every single writer than knows him said he hated recruiting and the college game. He may well return some day but it will be last option.

-Busted out mid day for a bike ride since I won't get an opp tomorrow. Steamy out there.
