Mitchell is done. Too far gone at this point. Two more seasons of playing out a string and then Barnhart can overpay someone else to underachieve. Maybe he can hire that kid from the commercial who's living on the streets in Nashville. She can finally realize her music aspirations as UK Hoops coach.

I copied and pasted your entire trip rundown and emailed it to her. She's been wanting to do London/Scotland for a while.

My problem is her idea of Europe is a week at EPCOT. :grimace:

We did 3 days in London, train to Edinburgh, then a week driving Scotland last year. Amazing. Do it.

Gonna be the girl version of Pitino's 1st year 7 scholarship 14-14 miracle season, that was so fun I can't wait to watch Redneck Potsy do the same special season!!

BTW if you can't get a job writing for a site that employs BTI then I cannot imagine how horrific your takes are

draft order was kind of dope to watch. love that Boston at 3 means lots of talk about teams chasing Murray trying to swing deals. sounds like the order was leaked online before the show like the ncaa tourney?

May 2016 will go down as the wettest awfullest May in my lifetime, touch this garbage & get here now June

Watching the lottery last night and of course Anthony Towns was front and center. Watched his interview and started thinking.. Does this kid really exist?

Mature beyond his years, super nice, extremely well spoken, radiant smile, and a total killer on the court. Realize this is nothing new but now he's becoming more of a national story with the ROY award and many former greats are starting to rave about his game.

Hope the T Wolves get Murray. That's the piece they need. Deadeye shooter to extend defenses.

Things are starting to shape up well for that franchise. Tibs as the coach, etc.

- Late 20’s to mid 30’s. Fantastic. Far enough out of college to begin establishing your career, beginning to be able to travel on adult vacations, friends are a closer group that isn’t just tied to school…plus your parents are generally/hopefully healthy around this age.

- Like everyone else I loved the Sturgill show. Crazy talented and that horn section added a new dimension to older songs. I will say… I’ve been to a lot of concerts and it was noticeable how little he interacts with the audience. It works, though.

- We had a pregnancy scare once where my wife sent me a pic of the test without a key to be able to determine the result (assuming I would know that it meant negative and she would never just text me a positive pregnancy test). I received the text in the middle of a fairly big conference call and flipped out a bit.

- Nice recap, BBdK.

- NYC for the long Memorial Day weekend. Eeeek.

- Trek through Costa Rica next spring.

- Not a huge fan of cruises (loved Alaska that way, though) but cruising the Baltic Sea is definitely on my list. Our Alaska cruise was right after the economy collapsed so we got an unbelievable deal as they were just trying to keep everyone from cancelling at that point (thanks sub-prime mortgages/MBS/CDO!).

-Vegas Friday night. Conference Monday-Tuesday. Pool time at The Palazzo for Dad this weekend. Somewhat concerned with the Friday happy hour flight out there, but I don't have to be sober to play blackjack and craps until 7:00 am. Pretty excited, guys.

-SIL, an extensive traveler, spent a year or two in London getting her masters at Sotheby's. So naturally she still refers to universal things using British slang. It's ******** nauseating.

Apartment = flat
Subway = tube
Mom = mum
College = university
etc., etc.

I mean, it takes a lot for me to keep my GD mouth shut, but it induces the biggest :rolleyes: I can offer. So GD pretentious.

-I loved Paris, but really enjoyed Stockholm. I just felt a little more familiar/comfortable with Northern Europe/Scandinavia because it wasn't so bohemian and a little more common. I appreciated that, especially after 3 days in Paris feeling like a fat hillbilly.

-Forced myself to watch the Blue/White game highlights last night on youtube. It did not move, unfortunately. Will try again in a month or so.

-Really need the UofL baseball team to collapse this postseason.

-Things to bring on your own to Vegas imo: sunscreen, sufficient amounts of smokes, Cliff bars, lip balm, Gatorade powder.

Question for BBdk,

In your frolicking with the locals, did you pick up any anti-mooslim sentiment, and what was the mood in general after the terrorist attacks, particularly in Paris?

Real talk.

Damn.

There goes Chad's probable starter. That sucks, I really liked the idea of having him for 4 years. Never looked happy last year, mentioned it several times.

-No, Doc, I didn't engage any locals with conversation about Muslims. Sorry, but on my list for next time.

Still won't listen to the two slapnuts they have on that show,

Dont listen enough to know about the other one, but Mike Cameron trains horses, or used to. I know he had a winner at Keeneland two or three meets ago.

-They need to give my boy Ressie a shot. He's past due, imo..

Watch it

-Good news for Willis I suppose. Be cool if Mulder could find his role as a situational shooter, but not getting my hopes up.

Apparently they had Billy Donovan's dad on this week for a segment. Harmon said it was a great interview. Talked about how Donovan struggled initially to adjust to coaching NBA players, but that he feels comfortable now. Wish I would have heard it.

Really glad we offered our two 4-year Kentucky boys back in 2013. Hawkins could potentially see a lot more minutes off the bench than I originally thought heading into this offseason.

Wednesday Randoms:

- I hate the MFer, but I don't see how Brice Johnson isn't a lottery pick.

That dude is going to fall all the way to the Spurs. That is his perfect landing spot.

The Celtics should try to make a play for Blake Griffin. The Clipps may be ready to break **** up a bit after his shenanigans, and Boston has a ton of pieces to deal to get the "superstar" they so desperately covet. They could get the #3 pick, take Sullinger as a stopover, maybe Marcus Smart, other picks.

Fabricate a scenario in which you'll need her to pass you a bar of soap.

Kindly ask her to pass the "cake of soap."

She will know she's been topped and give it up.

"Cake of soap" is one of the deepest cut Britishisms* I can think of.

*Best word to drive an actual British person insane. It demarcates their own idioms as oddballs even they though are from a language they invented. Trust me. ("Scotch-Irish" is A1 to drive a Scottish person nuts, btw.)

This might be controversial, but I don't think I'd chase Griffin. I think he is damaged goods.
