GYERO ARCHIVE

[wcc31]

Ted Cruz spinoff question:

Who would you pick from GYERO as your running mate?

I'm thinking Harris has to be up there. Connections all over the place.

BBdK- although I'm sure we'd fist-fight every couple of weeks.

[UnfrozenCatfanLawyer]

I went to a "nice" retailer in Austin (all the trendy **** like Vineyard Vines, Yeti, etc.) and they had a sizable Duck Head display. Wasn't sure what to think.

[PuffyNips]

If I wanted to win, I'd pick WS as my running mate.

If I was choosing someone whose policies I believe in it would be Maxxxxx, Llama or ShowKilla.

[BBdK]

Thanks, Chad.

It would pain me to over-hype you 24/7, but for the right price I could get it done.

[cricket3]

You can get a Duck Head t-shirt for $40 or a nice oxford for $125 on their website.

[wcc31]

Duck Head has made a comeback, apparently, but we're all too old to know about it...except for Cricket, of course.

[cricket3]

Yeah man, sucks you guys are too old to Google Duck Head.

[wcc31]

Don't get fresh with me! I'll bitchslap the teeth right outta your mouth!

Vinnie's Pizzeria in Brooklyn is serving/delivering a pizza in a edible pizza box. Once you finished the pizza and you’re still hungry for more, you could eat the box the pizza came in.

The new Duckhead is nothing like the late 80s Duckhead.

[UK_Dallas]

Sorry Willy. But it's Benton. Not many choices. What did your guide recommend?

Boat - he could have gone to Paducah to get Starnes but I guess he didn't want to drive the extra 20 miles.

[BBdK]

How hateable are the Houston Rockets? [sick]

What a bunch of losers.

[bradyjames_rivals]

Always wondered how much money to the UK guys (the stars) make during their autograph/barnstorming tours? @MattJonesKSR?

10K? 20K? More...?

Will should know more than me but I can tell you the owner of Lexington Sports Cards said he bought a Ford Fusion with his cut(half) from the AD signing. That was a single day event that lasted 2-4 hours. I have zero idea how that guy pulled it off. He is one of the weirdest guys I have ever met.

[Ron Mehico]

Duckhead is making a comeback? Good grief, its so weird how fashion consistently just cycles stuff from 20 years ago. I still remember having a bunch of old lacoste polos sitting in my closet when I was at UK in the early 2000s that I ended up giving to goodwill. Literally 10 in decent condition. Then I remember walking in the mall 5 years later and seeing a lacoste polo for 85 bucks.

How hateable are the Houston Rockets? [sick]

What a bunch of losers.

I irrationally hate James Harden. Don't have any compelling reason to other than his general bitchiness, but I absolutely can't stand him.

[BernieSadori]

IZOD!

[UnfrozenCatfanLawyer]

There's really no reason for Duck Head not to be trendy, honestly.

[BernieSadori]

The lighting is tacky and the TV placement atrocious.

Not a single fireplace.

Pass.

How hateable are the Houston Rockets? [sick]

What a bunch of losers.

Any team with Dwight Howard instantly becomes unlikeable. I like Harden's quirkiness but hate the way he completely dominates the ball.

They lost out by going into hibernation and allowing all these other preppy brands to emerge- Vineyard Vines, Southern Tides, etc.

[PuffyNips]

Surprisingly to me, Benton had every fast food joint and several chain restaurants.

I guess we actually stayed in Dreffenville, and there was a J's Steakhouse right next to our hotel.

But I told my Dad that some guy from the internet told me I had to go to 4 Little Pigs BBQ 10 minutes away.

Our guide said 4 Little Pigs is usually pretty good. We might've hit it on a bad night. But the corn bread tasted like they made it with spoiled buttermilk and rotten lard. Ruined the whole meal.

And you know how hungry you are when you've been on the lake all day.

Pizza version of a fetus in fetu, it appears. I hope they're selling it as a pizza in pizzu.

[BernieSadori]

All these trendy brands can EAD. Tommy Bahama or bust.

Vineyard Vines, Duck hunt, Coca Cola Sweatshirts, IZOD, Southern Tides, or whomever cannot match how Tommy Bahama can pair clothing with a nice grouper sandwich.

* Back at work today after a few days at Kentucky Lake. I love the whole LBL area. One of my favorite parts of the country. Just beautiful.

* Chief, your food rec sucked. 4 Little Pigs was not good. The BBQ was mediocre at best and the cornbread was actually rotten. Horrible. The fried okra was good, though.

[laughing] 4 Little pigs, Christ!

Knoth's BBQ and Patti's in that area is the only way to eat out.

[_Chase_]

Willy it's your own damn fault for trusting a Chief recommendation. I don't feel a bit sorry for you, dumbass.

[UnfrozenCatfanLawyer]

That pizza is a disgrace.

[Geese Feeder]

Harden's well-documented and blatant disregard for anything related to preventing the other team from scoring is my main source of contention with him.

It's an affront to the game, IMO.

I'd guess Ulis makes 100K or more. Aren't they selling autographs for $20+ a pop? Even if they are making just $5 per the stars are going to draw a ton of people.

BIG JOHNSON

Does anyone remember the "Buckwheat Say..." t-shirts that were popular (at least in Myrtle Beach) for about a minute back in the 80s? I loved those things, but in retrospect they were incredibly racist.

[Geese Feeder]

All these trendy brands can EAD.

Good call, gaffot.

[BernieSadori]

Good call, gaffot.

You mean to tell me brands use male models to show off their clothing line?

Hmmm, may have to rethink things.
