Angel Cabrera always seems to be lurking in The Masters and US Open. Dude cracks me up.
He's unreal but it's excruciating.
Haven't played a straight blade since college...and neither do a lot of tour players today. Nothing better than a crisp blade shot, but I'm not good enough to find that sweet spot all the time. Considered a mixed set, but The forged players irons are :fire: and get better every year...the thin top line, and the forged feel is great, all the workability you need. Same as my AP2s I've played for the last decade, just wanted something new/different.
Far cry from a bulky game-improvement "cavity back" club you seem to be thinking of. Nearly 70% of the PGA Tour players have some sort of cavity these days...
You wouldn't want to go from Blades to the JPX line, Catlanta. -- pretty thick looking top line from address. MP line ftw.
...and the sooner you admit you have no business playing blades, the better off your game will be.

<------- new sticks today, finally. Went w/ the new Mizuno MP25, they are DOPE. AS. F. They put me in a Project X 6.0 Stiff+ -- seems I've been playing the wrong shaft for quite awhile.#MovingDay [smoke]:golf:

Why would anyone play blades anymore?
Wonder how SliceBag would do at the Barron?
I said the exact same thing about having a Duke face. Looks like a poo-say.To me, Bolden looks like he has a Duke face. It just looks kind of punchable. I can't put my finger on exactly what it is, but I am sure of it.
I'll deny ever posting this if he comes to UK.
LLama Tweeted yesterday that he'd rather have Ferguson than Bolden and I tend to agree with him. A traditional wing with a great shooting touch plugs more holes than a fifth 6'10" forward/center.
I think Cal is hell bent on just adding a post and calling it a day. And I think if Bolden does go for Duke, Jarrett Allen and Kentucky suddenly get really tight again, really fast.
