Spieth is just silly. Not even hit the ball all that well this week. He's slow AF, but you can't say it's for "show" -- kid is just dialed in, and rarely makes the killer mistake. Won't hit a shot until he's 100% committed...it's annoying, and amplified this windy week at Augusta, but still hard to hate on him.

This one's OVA. What a run for this kid.

Coolest thing about watching the Masters is hearing the crazy background roars while they are showing someone else, and trying to guess (unless you're on Twitter searching) who they are about to show doing something silly.

Just awesome.

Man, that lead was gone with quickness.

Current "root against" list: Westwood. Garcia. Bubba Watson. Kind of torn on DJ. Lifetime achievement, but don't have to root against anymore: Davis Love III.

Wow. in the drink again. :flushed:

^ he hasn't had "it" all week. I didn't expect a Quad of course, but the fact he's been scoring how he has has been unreal.

Even if he were -1 today he'd be 1 down.

Have to imagine that it's tough to be in the final group and your partner has bogeyed 7 out of 14 holes. o_O

That's why "choke" is the wrong word. He had a disaster hole. It was terribly timed, and I'm sure the pressure contributed...but it happens on Public courses, and surely happens at Augusta. Look at the big numbers all week from the best players in the WORLD. Multiple doubles and triples for most everyone.

But a "choker" doesn't come back with 2-3 birdies to close when his mind is undoubtedly completely F'd.

Anyone who's played golf should understand a disaster hole doesn't always mean OMG WHAT A CHOKER LOSER. He's not going to win, and he should have, but I feel bad for all the HES A CHOKER talk that's coming his way. [eyeroll]

He's going to shoot even or under par today, and got beat by a 67 and and unthinkable bad hole. Comparing this to the epic chokes in golf history, and there have been many, is absolutely ridiculous, period. :100points:

Sucks. Had one disaster of a hole.

Really wanted to Spieth win. Seems like a genuinely humble kid who has a great head on his shoulders.
