If he actually manages to make real progress with the teachers' retirement and employee pension programs then the rest of this is background noise. It's a calculated risk, but he can run on that and win re-election. Just because the handful of hacks at the CJ & LHL enjoy having a little snark circle jerk at his expense doesn't mean the general public feels the same way. Look at last year. He won easily, but you would have thought he had absolutely no chance if you were following the race in the media.
So a media member who built his platform on being sarcastically dismissive doesn't like a politician being sarcastically dismissive of him. Politics aside, that's kinda funny.
