The SEC champion and the Big Ten champion are going to play for a berth in the Sweet 16.

And so are Syracuse and Middle Tennessee. And Duke and Yale.

Unreal. This is a top 5 all time NCAAT upset, right? Michigan St wasn't your average #2 seed, certainly no USC/Coppin St. They were as heavily picked to win this as anyone. Veteran team, NCAAT legend coach, POY.

I mean, it wasn't even CLOSE. Bizarre.

That was an awesome performance. MTSU led that game wire to wire. Took it right to Michigan State the whole game. Could make contested baskets in the paint, get in the lane and hit jump shots. Just an impressive team.

The line was "only" 16.5, which surprised me.

I assume there have been bigger NCAAT upsets from a point spread standpoint, but I can;t think of any. Duke-Lehigh was also a 2-15, so that may have been close.

But still. Wow.

Lost a crispy Benji on the 2nd half line, but that was worth it. What a great event. [jumpingsmile]

Felt a bit for Valentine there at the end, but I'm over it now. How does that even happen? The NCAAT is just the best, man.

Izzo is THE MAN. But, I do get sick of hearing about him...he's done very well, but people talk about him like he's the GOAT or something when it gets to March. No. He's not even Pitino...

Vegas is so sketchy/weird. One of the Handicappers I follow and use posted this in the hour leading up to the Michigan St Game. I mean, what do they "know" that would cause them to suddenly hammer a 15 seed vs. the most popular (with KU) title pick? The line has been out all week.

Of course, I didn't bite...but +17 is looking pretty damn good I'd say.

Would be nice if you would share this stuff BEFORE the game instead of with 10 minutes left in the game. You know, since weve sent no less than 200 texts back and forth today.:confused:

Umm, you follow them on Twitter, and PAID ME for his info. Step your game up, I'm not the 'gambol team' babysitter, although I often feel like it.

-Also, special congrats to Anth's Syracuse Orange!!!!!!

Without checking I am pretty sure Steve Nash beating Arizona is the biggest of all time, or at least has been considered so since I can remember.

Congrats on screwing a team over AGAIN refs just so you can make a ridiculous impact on the game. I mean, touch Iowa and all, but that was some ********. Freaking ice water veins for the Temple kid though.

Let the Iowa goon shove the guy in the back for the game winner to make amends.
