Round of 32 Takes:
- Isaiah Briscoe has turned into a helluva basketball player. Not a OAD talent, but the kind of guy who helps you win. High basketball IQ. Selfless. Will do anything to help his team win.
- Hopefully, Ulis and Murray got their poor shooting out of their system.
- I'm not scared of Indiana, but I hate rivalry games in the NCAA.
- Murray's ability to get near or above that 20-point mark every game is remarkable. What a tremendous scorer. Let's hope he's got a couple more 30-pointers in him.
- I generally love that announcing team, but the patronizing toward Stony Brook last night was absurd. It's a common tactic with announcers toward midmajors, too. They treat these guys like they're grade school teams, making a big deal of them hitting shots and everything.
- BBN will show for Saturday. Not even worried about that. Blue will get in.
- Love the 5:15 tip. Early but not too early. Great drinking gametime.
- I'ma be a rattlesnake the next 35 hours. We're the better team, but they're damn good, a Top 10 teams themselves. If they're on fire, that's going to be trouble. They shouldn't be able to hurt us inside, though. Poythress has a chance to have a big game.
- How do you guard IU? Briscoe on Yogi or Ulis on Yogi?
- All I know is this- I trust Calipari a lot more than Crean in this game.
- One of the best parts of the Calipari Era has been La Familia. Love John Wall giving a shout out to his "lil bro" Tyler Ulis for breaking his record.
- It's the NCAA Tournament. Time to let'm hang, Cats.
