UL athletic program is equivalent to a drug dealer parking his lambo in front of his duplex. No shame and a lack of complete disregard for who knows it. Place needs to be burned to the grown and started over, what a cesspool.

"If I could just get Andre McGee in a room for 10 minutes, I would say to him 'why would you do this? What purpose did it serve? We didn't need this to get recruits.' We're not Kentucky where we're recruiting the one-and-dones," Pitino said. "We have a different way we recruit. It didn't make any sense what was going on. How these women infiltrated our program is very disturbing to me. And how Andre McGee, I should not say how, but why did Andre McGee get tied into this? Only Andre can make those answers. Someday I want him to do that. The last text I sent to him was 'Andre, I asked for one thing and that's for you to be honest and tell the truth.'"

"It's not my fault. It's Andre's fault. Also, it's the whores' fault. Andre and the whores. Not me. Even though I'm in charge of the program and get paid millions of dollars to oversee it."

For most folks, this won't mean much, but Leicester City is on the verge of winning the English Premier League title. For comparison's sake, it would be like the Louisville Bats getting promoted to MLB and somehow winning the World Series. Their leading scorer was playing in a semi-pro league a couple of years ago. It might be the most improbable sports story of the past 10 years.

You don't ever want to piss off a black man with absolutely nothing to lose.

He doesn't have to speak to the NCAA but if he does who cares? He's not coaching at the NCAA level ever again. Pitino may want to shut up.
He'll eventually talk. I'm assuming after the sanctions are all wrapped up.

I mean, it may not be a World Series but more importantly I'm pleased with the Bats' new unis/color scheme.

Kansas is kind of like the Oakland As back in the day. Built for sustained regular season success but not necessarily for a high stakes, winner-take-all situation.

Bout damn time someone recognized Derek's Yugioh skills. I'm sick of people hating on him. MJ does his little redneck schtick thing as if he's never heard the guy talk. Cal routinely bashes his defense when we have a stable of bigs who are mostly worthless at everything. It's not fair, but that's just how the white man treats the red man. Proud of Derek for overcoming all the ********.

He's showing off the biggest of his dozen or so tattoos: A sugar skull that's surrounded by a giant owl. The owl's spread-out wings stretch from one shoulder to the other, its tailfeathers reaching down to Willis' abs. It represents wisdom, Willis says.

I like my team.

Willis' release is so quick. At 6'10" with great length he can get that shot off from the corner pocket better than anyone I've seen in a long time. There's not much space there but his size/length enable to get it off with ease.

Dudes are all up on him not giving an inch and he just rises up without leaving the floor and boom.

-What the hell is Yu-gi-oh? Also, Derek is actually Native American? I thought he was just a redneck WCS.

-I just assume most programs have that type of thing setup. Here's some cash, take the boys out, don't let them pay for anything. I doubt that meant hookers. Heard a journalist a few years back, can't remember who, basically said he's been told most high level coaches or assistants have these funds setup at banks in other parts of the country.

-With the NCAA it's seems like the opposite is true. If you act like you don't know where the money came from, they're just going to use their imagination.

-My guess is they're holding on until the NOA to see if he's named. Which he will be. Then negotiate the buyout.

Speaking of Native Americans, WGN is set to have a new show based on the comic "Scalped." If it's anything like the funny book, that will be a must-see show. Basically "The Sopranos" set on a reservation.

I just read something about how gravitational waves just helped prove that there is a center to the universe.

Can I get an invite to the B2BC bracket? The only one showing up on my cbs is the Wodie as F_ck one from a few years back.

Willis went to Male his freshman year and towered over everyone. The coach, Crews (used to be at Desales) refused to play him because he didn't want to bang down low. Good call coach

Yeah, false.
They had a show called Manhattan that was allegedly really good. Nobody watched it, so it got cancelled. Hey, once upon a time, everybody laughed at AMC getting into the TV drama business ... with Mad Men. You never know where good TV is going to come from these days.

- Is Virginia a bad NCAA team or have they just had the misfortune of drawing unfavorable match-up Michigan State two straight years (now 3)?

How will we ever know if the committee won't stop putting them in the same GD bracket. Lock that MSU knocks UVA out again.

I'm skeptical now that I see BBdK taking the same position, but I'm very biased in picking my stories based on the network where they air.

FX, AMC, HBO- probably gonna get long just fine

WGN- no Bozo no care

-I didn't know anyone that read comic books growing up. My little group got into them for like a month in 7th or 8th grade. Not that anything is wrong with them I just had no idea how many of these things existed.

-Netflix series for me moving forward. Too convenient.

AMC hit paydirt with its first two shows - Mad Men and Breaking Bad. Then it cancelled a really good one after one season (Rubicon). Everything else they've done, frankly, has been fair to middling, including The Walking Dead. They're putting a new one on in May, though, called Preacher that I have high hopes for.
