- That game ystdy was high level. Punches being thrown left and right. Game of runs. After not capitalizing down the stretch loved how we hit three 3's in OT. Nails.

- Of course Murray & Ulis were off the trellis all weekend but how solid was Briscoe? Glue guy. Getting to the basket at will & hitting layups. Huge rebounds. Outstanding defense.

- Great to see Willis hit a few huge 3's down the stretch ystdy. Need his confidence back.

- Poythress now has 5 games in a row with double figures. Loved how we went ISO with him on the block twice down the stretch against Georgia.

- Need more by committee from Skal and Lee.

- Over the seeding. Let's tip it off. Cal is at his best when he's looking for an angle and his teams usually feed off this.

A&M looked like a Final Four team to me yesterday. Was really impressed, even if I hate their entire touching existence.
Yeah, in my first bracket which i may change over the course of the next few days, have A&M in FF.

I'm sticking with my UNC championship pick, hopefully its a jinx.

"Hey, man, [Vandy, A&M, LSU, Georgia] really looked good in the SEC Tourney against us. I could see them making a serious run in the Big Dance."

ONE WEEK LATER

[Vandy, A&M, LSU, Georgia] ***** down leg and cries while looking for their parents in the stands.

And that's a good measuring stick, imo... Still though, and jmo, they, UGA, were more deserving than 'Cuse, because the latter is terrible. For Christ's sake, Chase still hates Fab Melo's ugly f*cking face.

-But, yeah, we all know how the SEC's run in the dance typically goes. Or, see my responsibility post above.

Maybe I'm in the minority but completely expect to get f'd by the NCAA and even harder with Cal at the helm. Cal could cure cancer, solve the debt crisis, cut taxes and pay for everyone at the NCAA to get breast implants/penis enlargements and we're still getting no respect. That is and how it's going to be. Are these games more stressful? GD right they are. Would we capitalize being dealt a cakewalk? Not so sure. As already mentioned, we have a coach that is his best with a chip on his shoulder. We have a back court that can dissect anything thrown at us. If we're able to make it to the UNC game, you'll see more attacking like we did this past weekend to get the UNC bigs in foul trouble. Put Meeks or Johnson on the bench early with two fouls and dare their guards to play us on ball.

A few months back, I think it was a consensus a S16 was pretty high for expectations. It's still true and had you said we could potentially face two arch rivals on the way to an E8 and that they would be more pissed to see us than we are to see them, I would have laughed in your face. But here we are, humming along, playing smart, scoring in bunches and having enough weaponry to compete with any team in the field. I like my team.

I think UNC is the worst possible matchup for UK in the entire field. Don't see how we match up with them inside. And they can outscore us. We are playing well and will get our points, but...I fully expect a 90-85 kind of game, a la UConn 2006.

- Can Briscoe be Liggins? He won't shoot as well, but can he gives us what Liggins gave us during the '11 run? He is so damn smart. Just carved up that zone.

- When will these F'ing idiots realize that UK doesn't get the ****** SEC? Those teams don't play us like they do everyone else. We're more than battle-tested.

- I just sent South Dakota State to the E8 because I thought they were San Diego State.

- I need more Seton Hall in my life. Fun team to watch. Quick as hell and Whitehead is a baller.

- Is Duke being overlooked? The West is wideopen. If they can avoid Baylor's bangers, I could see them handling Oregon and Oklahoma.

- Is Cuonzo Martin a good coach? If it wasn't for a **** call, he would've taken Tennessee from the first FOUR to the E8 against us in '14. People point at Brown and Rabb, but Wallace is really good, too.

I think one of my favorite offensive sets may be a Briscoe drive from the wing, have no path to the basket, dribble in a a semi circle out the other side, find open man while defense is confused.
Having a PG as your 3 has its benefits. He slowed on the shots. I'm assuming he was told to get to the rim because he was hell anytime they ran zone.

I think you're giving them way too much credit. Meeks is pretty soft. Hicks could be trouble but he's inconsistent. Johnson can be a beast but also disappears.

Ulis would carve them up and Roy's teams are notoriously horrible at guarding the 3.

UNC a 1 seed, UK a 4. Give advantage to the 5 seed making the better seeds travel to touching Iowa (Big Can't Count country) to play. The selection people really took Geography into consideration,,,, for the lower seed. I hope Providence and UT Chattanooga ***** on the face of the selection committee.

Loved how everyone on the show was propping Gonzaga up with the cute little trendy upset of the first round. Uh, no. Seton Hall will murk the slow, no defense playing chalks from out west.

My big upset of the first round, 13 Hawaii over Cal. Yeah they have a couple one and done pros, but JVC is not coaching them, Hawaii if they can stay out of foul trouble, will beat them.

Also, one of or both Arizona / Texas will get bounced, and Duke will not make it out of the round of 32.

Purdue better be focused, Little Rock is very dangerous.

And inasmuch as this even matters...

Bloomington to Des Moines: 506 miles.

Lexington to Des Moines: 664 miles.

Look at the teams being sent to St. Louis. Sparty and Wisky the only two that will bring anybody, and with Wisky in a down year I wouldn't be surprised to see a small crowd for them. The rest are PURE ****.

Kansas could have sold out Des Moines on its own, leaving Indiana and UK to pack St. Louis to the rafters. Idiots.

I can respect Dick Vitale's career and at the same time think if ESPN continues to trot him out there for big games, people need to just turn the radio on and listen to Leach instead. He was an absolute embarrassment yesterday.

On the other hand....

Then I'm guilty of that as well because I think UNC would slaughter us on the boards, specifically the offensive glass. AP/Lee would have to have A+ efforts just to help slow down Johnson and Jackson from climbing over the top and getting anything they wanted off the miss.

They are *not* a good matchup for us. JMO.

Really liked how he cut through and got lay ups and then when they cut it off made some good passes to the wing or rim.

Even though he had 17 yesterday it was Murray's worst game since January and I think it was an aberration. Teams won't have him scouted like the other SEC teams do.

More than likely our path to winning a championship will consist of beating 5 top 15 kenpom teams. Since we didn't get any favors on the seeding side, it would be nice if just one year the bracket opened up a little for us.

I agree with the person yesterday that said Spake looked as dope as ever. :fire::fire:

My one hope is that we take out UNC, stopping their last hurrah and leave them facing a NCAA penalty on a downer. Anything after that is gravy.

Providence sucks. A couple friends up here are alums and I've watched quite a few of their games lately. They fell off a damn cliff, so I wouldn't be surprised if they lose in Round 1. Even if they somehow make it to UNC, they are completely overmatched. Dunn is really on his own for the most part, and an athletic team like UNC (even though they don't defend perimeter well) will shut that team down.

Not many other teams have a Caruso...or even guys like Jones or House. UNC will be checking him with 6'1" Paige or maybe Pinson?

-don't sleep on Hawkins defense. He and Briscoe are a great compliment.

-SECT was about perfect. Can't wait to experience it with G. He loves being out in the middle of the commotion.

Crowd wasn't insane like last year. Tickets were reasonable.

-Don't care, those TAMU cheer guys are the most awkward awful traditions in college sports. Good lord. I mean... they make our flag boy look like Clint Eastwood.

-We would have to deal with UNC's size but they have to deal with defending us. Their size isn't really the kind that's bothered us because it's not physical. I'm probably still taking UNC in my bracket.

-As overall #1 Jayhawk got one of the worst draws. Shew. That bracket is loaded.

TAMU is a load with that size and ability. Not your typical SEC team. I'll have them winning a couple.

-On my second screwdriver of the day, beach in about 15 minutes. Will be wearing my 02 Tayshaun Prince jersey

- Knew we would get a 4 seed. But of all the 5's, IU is the one I'd like to play the most. Besides the obvious rivalry aspect, they don't scare me very much.

-I'll be listening to that game on the damn radio, much like the UGA and TAMU games. Honestly, wasn't that bad. Obviously, never got a chance to listen to Cawood, but Leach is pretty damn good. Love the fact that he is extremely biased in his calls, just going nuts when good things happen.

- Assuming we make it there, the UNC game will be so fun. Probably similar to the 2012 IU tourney game. Will be tough to match up with them inside. Need them to have an average shooting game.

-Maddening that we're better than every 3 seed.

- Last night was the first night we were here for spring break. Went to a packed, huge bar that did a 10 dollar all you can drink special. Was so much fun. Did a lot of things the girlfriend would definitely not approve of... No worries in the world. Did not cheat on her though, I'm a good boy.

- One of the roommates came back in at about 4 am, clearly distressed, because he "could have f*cked." Apparently there were issues with her friends, and problems with the location of said banging. Likely story. What a child.

- Going to be a fun *** week

Crowds were much more manageable this year, except for that nasty bunch in the corner. What a bunch of losers. Wish they would have been Tennessee fans.

Good times in the #suitelife, still never saw Adrian.
