If Skal plays that way on defense and rebounds like that the rest of the year, I like our chances. Sky is the limit if he plays like this.

The release point on his jumper is so high that its indefensible in college basketball.

26 assists on 38 makes!

If you had to make a pie chart of this game where the only sections you were allowed to fill in were "uh oh..." and "yeah, but dead man walking LSU...", how big would the sections be?

Ben Simmons is a big ol' weirdo.

He is extremely weird.

2 in a row for Skal.

Jamal Murray is an absolute dick out there. Between him and Ulis it's a wonder there hasn't been a punch thrown by an opposing player yet. Yes, he tripped that guy. That makes him a dick. But he's our dick.

The second time Murray shot the arrow at the UK bench, EJ Floreal caught it and threw it back at him. They need to stop because they can never do better than this.

God bless America, I'm going to miss Tyler Ulis. Today belonged to 22 and that's fine, but the game belonged to Tyler Ulis. What a privilege it has been to be a fan of the team he plays for. An absolute clinic on how to play college point guard.

I want A&M. Their celebration today was lame. Like Vandy when they won the SEC-T in 2012. I want A&M.

Ben Simmons is a weird, very weird goof.

Everything is meshing at just the right time. I like how Willis got just enough time to hit two 3s and get back in the flow. We need to do the SEC tourney the way we did it in the 90s. Make it our little *****, no hope for anyone.

If Simmons doesn't create in transition he's much less effective and once the ball is out of his hands some one else is jacking. He's great but needs some maturing. He should be demanding that sucker.

-Cal. :100points::smiley: That sneaky f*cker. Holding Skal until the end of the season. Unreal. WCC called it. We dangerous... y'all.

[laughing] That's some top notch *****, right there

WOW. What a little *****. Coming from the guy who shot 11 FT's to Ulis' 4. That guy got the Jordan treatment out there ON THE ROAD, and that's his commentary. Unreal. Take your ***** *** NIT team and GTFO. Hope they get bounced in round 1.

Hilarious that after all abh's spazzing about the refs, LSU ends up shooting 4 more FT's. Must be nice to get an evenish road whistle.

And there's no hesitation with Skal. He knows before he gets it that he's shooting. That pick and pop with Ulis is deadly.

Gotta say sitting next to WWWes was awesome. Dude is so into the games. He was yelling at the refs, getting mad when fouls/calls weren't made, high fiving after dunks/threes, & a legit UK fan. Yes he may also have some allegiances elsewhere but if you watched from a far you would think he was regular Joe wildcat fan by his reactions. Guy was great all game. Super fun talking & hanging out with him throughout the game. Knew everything about every player on both teams. Loved it!

Wonder how creative the refs are going to have to get in order to make sure KU wins.

Edit: Nevermind, ISU just going to completely collapse instead. SEC West Heavy.

Assitbyhawkins does not like this post. Probably already called WWW the N-word.

My favorite part about it. If he catches in that spot, he needs to shoot every time. 6'11, back over his head...it's unstoppable. He seems to know it too, b/c he's letting it fly EVERY single time in that situation, which is fine by me.

Something else Skal isn't doing anymore is sitting and waiting for the double because it gets taken from him 94% of the time. He's either shooting or immediately looking to give it away...which is what he should do.

More Skal shooting J's less Briscoe please.

And like I said that #1 pick ***** Simmons can get pumped.

I can't even imagine someone like Anthony Davis not being completely complimentary of a great opposing player in a loss. Fortunately AD chose the right school and didn't have many losses and won every award and a national championship.

When he gets a little stronger, develops a little better handle, and he learns when to pull that jumper and when to fake and go around, he's gonna cram on some people and teams are going to have serious problems. Right now they know he's pulling it, and it's still unguardable. I'm still not sure if he's going to make the extensive progress necessary to become an NBA player. He's still completely a project. But you can start to see his learning curve coming around. He's not Anthony Davis, he's not even gonna get close. But he doesn't have to get close to being The Witch to be a great pick in the late lottery. Just keep getting better young fella.

Bilas, when told about Simmons' comment about Ulis, "How would he know? They didn't guard anybody."
After seeing the actual video it's not nearly as bad. At least the foul portion, he was kind of joking and complimentary after that. Haven't seen the Moody comment.
