* How do you avoid the UK logo from peeling off during wash/dry on the new UK shirts? Been having this problem on the last 2-3 shirts I've bought. Sucks.

* Saw Zootopia last night. Good movie, but was a tad bit too long. Needed to shave about 15 minutes off. Kids were getting restless, though they liked it a lot.

* Slept like a baby last night. Best night's sleep I've had in a long time.

715pm at the Mall. Blankenbaker was sold out. Place was packed though. Not an empty seat in the theater.

Highly recommend. Not old Pixar quality, but pretty damn good. Disney is churning out good movies lately.

Just keeping up with Tyler Ulis...

...needs eight more assists to enter the top ten in career assists at UK. He would knock out Saul Smith. Would probably take a deep March run for him to have a chance to catch ninth or eighth place.

...Needs eleven assists to catch Roger Harden for 2nd most assists in a season.

...Needs twenty more assists to catch John Wall and set the Kentucky record for assists in a season.

Little fun fact. The record holder for assists per game average in a season and the second most assists in a season in NCAA history may be coaching against Tyler in our first game in Nashville. (Avery Johnson)

Pretty sure Ulis would have destroyed Kemba and Napier. I love that kid. And Murrray has gone from happygolcucky to assassin. If we win in March it will be a UConn like guard dominated trek. If we lose it will be because we get out-rebounded 40-22.

Not sure if Skal is fools gold or not. Ine deep March, you need rebounding.

I agree :100points:. And this is why our seed and bracket will be so important this year.

On Skal, one has to think he understands what's at stake and just how important it is to his future that he have a good post season. I really feel the last month has been more about Cal and company preparing Skal mentally for the stretch run more than anything else...that and teaching the kid how to play pick-n-roll basketball. Skal hasn't led a typical HS All-American lifestyle, his background was a little different, so it has required a slightly different approach from Cal. A more delicate approach.

Not counting on another 18/9/6 from Skal but his emergence is huge.

a) Give us frontcourt depth. Hell, we didn't even need arguably our best F/C two weeks ago in Humphries. We now have everyone healthy, a confident Humphries, Lee out of his funk and a rejuvenated Skal.

b) His J/threat of the J further spreads the floor for Ulis, Briscoe and Murray. Almost does as much as Willis in that regard.

c) Give us a legit rim protector. He was smart on D yesterday. In good position. Went straight up when challenging.

Madness starts today for me. Pulling for Ashville to advance to the dance. His pops works wi th me and he's a great dude. His son is very respectful and an awesome student.

Realized I'll be flying to LA during the draw Sunday. Sucks...nothing like seeing it live. I'll probably record it on Directv then watch it when I land.

Bw3 today at 2.

I'm not really looking forward to the selection show this year. Making a 2 hr special out of what used to be a drawn out 30 minutes doesn't excite me.

I'm sure I'll watch the whole thing.

If Skal keeps this up we could hypothetically run the closest thing to a modern NBA offense since the 2012 team.

1) "Coach on the floor" PG (Ulis)
2) Lights out shooting guard (Murray)
3) Token no-offense, perimeter defender (Briscoe - although somebody ought to tell Cal about the no-offense thing)
4) Stretch 4 (Willis)
5) Rim protector who you can run the pick and roll with all day long (Skal)

If rebounding weren't important, that would be a hell of a team. :grimace:

This little "You made us proud" manifesto is just weird. I mean, nobody outside of the Louisville MSA limits has shown any affection for this bunch, yet they act like all of college basketball is prepared to salute Lee and Lewis as shining heroes. The whole thing is just bizarre.

We just need Skal to be a rim protector and rebounder. I mean yesterday he blocked multiple attempts that in previous games would have been layups or dunks and would have kept them in the game. That alone makes us great.

I don't get what's so special about them. They swallowed a pill they had no choice about. What was the alternative? I guess congrats on not quitting the team midway through the season, or talking openly about how hard you got boned by your *****-mongering school and their delusional culture.

Louisville's fan base has collectively become the Pinterest loving hen of college basketball, proudly bandying their ghey slogans and acronyms about. Pretty much all they have to live for these days, really.

Whores. They live for whores. Pin that.

Speaking of infidelity, loved reading the Bo Ryan email and report. Just hilarious really. WTF did he do to that lady to have her try and get him fired? Also love that he forwarded the email to his wife immediately. The whole investigation an all was going while they were playing in the FF. Unreal, especially considering his condescension about not 'renting' players. Way too much integrity for that!

Since Cal has been here and been the target of every hack journalist, we have had Pitino, Boeheim, Roy Williams, and now Bo Ryan all to be exposed for one thing or another. K as well, though nothing sticks to that Rat. Would love for "Ja" to go all Blue Chips on K, and admit to a bunch of cheating.

I feel better about this because I think all parties pretty much know he's the next Sam Malone. Provide a little unintentional comedy, wave the towel when appropriate and catch arrows to the chest or throwing knives or jump on the invisible grenade or whatever Malik Monk and Deandre Ayton etc. come up with... just enjoy the ride.

He won't play. He has no expectation of playing. Kid gets to play BMOC for four years and it's a great way to swat rumors about NBA gigs. I really do not see how this could be anything but a positive so long as he doesn't get into any trouble.
