I've only heard of locking in terms of soccer, when you're kicking the ball. I'm sure 73 or Chumps can explain.

Family member asked us over today and wanted to talk to me and the wife about something but honestly couldn't explain it.

We naturally are late with a cripple and two kids to get together etc, and as we pull up every family member we have is there. Had no idea and was honestly hesitant on joining and contemplated blowing it off completely but the kids wanted to play.

We get in the door and food is everywhere fried chicken, shrimp cocktail, fruits, cheeses, typical fried chicken sides, deserts etc etc

As we are greeted with the WTF did you do, I kindly ask what we were asked over for that couldn't be explained and looks to be a family reunion!

So I'm then approached by the only stranger there and it is a team national dude. Ever heard of them? Yea me either!

After we eat two of my cousins announce they already joined this crazy discount system that also has a "getting paid" pyramid/MLM side to it. The discounts truly sale themselves TBH, but the other I'm still 50/50 on but the whole family(at least the women) all look at me and put it up to me as to whether it's legit or not as if they needed my approval to pay...........$2195 to join a discount system.

Um no, but the shrimps were good, :victory::airplane:

Nothing will come from it but would be pretty dope if Floyd St experienced some football ramifications....awful lot of eyeballs spanning multiple organizations poking around. Just saying.

If nothing else it's very agreeable that Blue has selected the "nuclear" option....

I dont understand how people continue to get sucked in by pyramid schemes. P2P marketing is no better in my book.
-A lot about people I don't understand. The most recent addition on my facebook is an intelligent nurse practitioner, UNC grad, totally opposite of that type. All in on R+F. Social media for those companies must be unreal.

-So... 1 week left in Feb and the Louisiana State University Johnny Jones Tigers are currently "out" of the tourney. Hornsby is rumored to be out the rest of the season and they still have @Ark, UF, UK to play.

-Over the loss but sick to my stomach about Willis. Be a nice time for Alex to get healthy.

-No matter what Humphries does in the future he's an endeared to the Nation. He'll be beloved for years to come.

-Cincy weekend was great. First time for WS away from little dude for more than 3-4 hours. Precinct, loved it. Much more quiet than his other places. Saturday grabbed lunch and beers with WCC and his lady. Dude is dunzo and good for him, she's an amazing girl. Kruger has a hell of a burger and cuban. The Goodfellas up there is HUGE. So weird since the original is about the size of my bathroom. Banks draws an interesting crowd, I assume it's the 4th St crowd.

-3 of our 4 old bachelors are in long term relationships with really great girls, be interesting to see where we are in a year.

-Shew, that Saturday weather. Talk about a teaser since it's going to suck balls this week.

There's no f'ing way I'm ever going to believe that it's just basketball. This is the program that hired that fat **** Hurtt to pull in Bridgewater and Co., knowing he would be getting slapped with a show cause. This is the program that rehired a coach that put his mistress on payroll after he bounced on them the second he had a better opportunity.

Played church league basketball yesterday. Other than tweaking my foot, it went much better than I expected, i.e., I didn't embarrass myself. Being moderately in shape goes a LONG way, apparently.

  • Fun seeing the crew out on Saturday night, surprise appearance by Geese. Knew the John Wall shot would be the kiss of death though. So you all can thank Bonzo for the loss. Such a bizarre ending. "Aussie, Aussie, Aussie...OY OY OY"....Richie was livid at that.
  • Server at Tin Roof...geez. Though at what point is it awkward to look at under 25s? She's dope but...dad, old, 42, etc.
  • Out of the GEL tonight b/c of baseball duties. Draft week. Tons of drama. Hard to please everybody without pissing people off.
  • My basketball game has definitely morphed into Antoine Walker as a Timberwolf. Feel like not getting hurt is the new goal. Avoid the paint as much as possible.

Could not get over the pics of that plain-Jane looking server. I mean, she is definitely cute/attracitve, but would not have guessed some kind of superstar rap video vixen is under there. Guess she really dresses down at work...but still seemed like a shy little thing. Good lord.

Everytime 73 mentions playing basketball I have images of him being carried off the floor a few years back and then how mad he got when everyone made a joke about it.

Now we're all candidates to get Jeremied off the floor anytime we walk onto it.

It happens man. 8 years ago to the month. 34 at the time. 42 now, which is even more scary.

Georgia Dome tornado was 8 years ago too. WTF? Seems like yesterday.

There was one play yesterday where I actually sprinted to get a pass for a layup. I couldn't believe how much it took out of me. It was embarrassing.

Read this and I bet you change your mind!! I suggest playing Fight Song in the background while reading. (*Side note that Rachel Platten chick is smoking hot.)

The Double GOOD (Get Out Of Debt) bonuses will be around for SEVEN MORE DAYS! I have one friend who is claiming a Diamond $20K bonus THIS week and another who jumped on board last week to claim the $1000 Ruby bonus by April! These are REAL bonuses, changing REAL families lives!
Who is going to choose faith over fear this week? Who is going to choose change? Who is going to choose freedom?
If you are STILL feeling a nudge towards this opportunity, it's time to step forward and make the decision to give this a shot. There is absolutely nothing to lose, but a whole lot to gain. A whole new outlook on life, actually. ‪#‎OneDecision‬ ‪#‎NewLife‬ ‪#‎LetsDoThis‬

-Saw where a girl I know, an otherwise smart girl who attended an expensive liberal arts college, started slinging some type of ******** "essential oils" this weekend. Better sleep, decreased stress and anxiety, and overall healthier living! [eyeroll]

-Yep, thanks for shots, everybody. Instead of drinking true pilsners until 3:00 am I was home in bed, shipwreck drunk, by 11:00. Easily my worst drinking performance in years. Awful.

Lol. First thing I told WCC and Willy about that gathering is Bonzo would turn it into a shot fest. That dude can't sit still in drinking settings. Predictable as a sunrise.

Monday Takes:

- Weird feeling- I love my team right now, would feel confident against ANYONE on a neutral court, but ****, just a bizarre set up circumstances including a ton if injuries, crap officiating (47 FTs @ KU, that tech @ A&M, etc) and some bonehead losses while we figuring things out (namely Tennessee and Auburn, guess you could throw Ohio State in there, too). I guess we could be a 3? Could be a 6? I'd like to get off that 4/5 line. Still have a couple toughies @ Vandy and @ Florida.

- Looking big picture earlier in the year, you'd probably say our two toughest games were @ Kansas and @ A&M. Lost both in OT with our hands tied behind our backs. Crazy season.

- So, we lose Briscoe in the warm-up line against Louisville, still not sure how Poythress got hurt and Willis goes down on a non-contact ankle sprain. WTH.

- Oh, and A&M can get pumped. What a crew of douche that team is. Collins flops as bad as any Dookie I've ever seen. Trocha is a POS. Jones keeps running his mouth. I hope we see those pricks down in Nashville.

- smh but Ulis has 22p/11a/4r and I didn't think he played that well. Had an uncharacteristic four turnovers. Just shows where expectations are with that dude right now. There aren't 5 better players in the country.

- Humphries seems like such a good kid. I really like that dude. Nice under-the-radar pick up by Calipari. He'll be a terrific role player on next year's squad.

- Our D was pretty damn good on Saturday. Seemed most of their points came on longbombs and putbacks.

- Of course, Parrish's dumbass has us at #22. Dauster, who I've been saying all year is a much better analyst, has UK at #10.

- Gotta love the media constantly headlining how "depleted" Duke is. No one has dealt with more injuries than UK and it's mentioned in the last paragraph.

- Once again, WHY is it so shocking to everyone that LSU sucks? Did you not watch Johnny Jones fiddle-touch around with last year's squad? GYERO could've told you what LSU was going to look like.

- Can't be that surprising GYERO is overhyping some plain Jane waitress when you guys do the same thing every day here with Spake.

- I love that Cincy has a casino downtown. It's a cool place and everything else. But Jesus Christ, the people there on a Saturday night. Between the crowd and the $25 mins...

Saw that the opposing team has shot more free throws than us in 11 consecutive games. How is that possible? I know we're a perimeter-oriented team now, but good lord.

Yep. Meanwhile, Duke, another perimeter driving team is the complete opposite. Crushing the line at a historic clip. TS.

I believe it. Outside of Briscoe, who else shoots inside? Lee's shots are all dunks off lobs. Willis and Murray live on the perimeter. Ulis has the pullup lane shot.

We're kind of like a Jay Wright Villanova team.

Team national is a discount system. I really actually was impressed with the discount system being able to buy direct on a lot of household things that cost a fortune and literally half the cost. What triggered this was a girl our family knows down in western Kentucky got into it. So essentially we have a real live testimonial on the beds, couches, and honest to god 60K dodge Dooley.

The discounts were similar to if your company offers an x plan type thing at work, and instant "rebate".

However they also offer a rebate discount on 100's of national brands like Starbucks, Walmart, home depot(and at this point I was pissed my competitor was involved), Sears etc etc etc. I mean seriously you name it and they were on there seemingly with anywhere from 4-10% rebates.

Also the higher up in the family tree the buyer is the more people that are also into the savings network. Tricky but catchy.

Like I said the rebates/discounts really sold themselves. Then they began the pyramid and when I mentioned ponzu scheme/mlm(which he didn't know what MLM even was) he got defensive yet that is exactly what it is. And he admitted he was absolutely after people that could network and get others involved.

So it was no surprise every woman in my family had eyes on me because I was there so I questioned everything and the other guys were begging to get out of there ASAP.

Sadly, and of course, my cousin for hosting the party got calls from my parents and my aunt who dropped $2195 already this morning. [laughing]
