-I don't mind a randomly placed shot during an outing, can really pick things up. However, I do agree the 5+ shot runs these days seem a little excessive. Especially if we're talking fireball.

-Don't really care what the story with Hatcher, tired of his nonsense.

-Tab at Tin Roof on Satuday after several pitchers and queso. $18.

-Buy less UK gear. SMH. Get pumped.

-I'm 100% fine sitting Willis a game or 2 extra even at the cost of a W to make sure that ankle is fine.

I'm kind of over fireball, pretty much a guarantee to feel terrible the next day.

Although, I'm really fine not doing shots anymore.

C'mon dude, learn drunk eating. 2/10, and enjoy the food poisoning.

-Sounds like Chad just needs new friends. Problem solved.
Eh, I eat terrible food all the time. My body is used to it and handles it pretty well for the most part.

-Speaking of drunk food, I haven't ordered Mad Mush bacon cheesesticks in a while. Might have to pull that move this weekend.

It's really about you succumbing to each season's new trend, man. Two years ago it was the wack *** scarf. Last year it was the block K gear. This year it's the Homage stuff.

I can't keep up with it anymore.

I haven't entirely turned into my father yet, but I'm cool rocking a UK tee on non-gamedays on a regular basis. I can't have enough soft UK tees.

I recall people talking about the Sheppard ankle injury and how trainers worked with him round the clock, and then magically a few days later the bruising was up around his calf and his ankle was fine. Couldve made all that up in my head though.

I know the rules, I don't know what hatcher had, and I'm reading conflicting information.

I'm just telling you what he's charged with. I have no clue what actually went down. He's also charged with Speeding 11 over (apparently), possession of drug paraphernalia (which is 99% of the time a ******** charge because whatever container is holding your weed = drug paraphernalia.

Last year was the scarf. 2 years ago was the "Home" tee. 3 years ago I have no idea. 2012 was the 3 googles. 2011 also 3 goggles. Bought the scarf for the Indy and Chicago games because it was going to be cold as balls. Wore it those two games and we obviously destroyed UCLA/KU so i just rolled with it. Then we kept winning so I didn't change anything, jeans, shoes, socks, jacket, shirt and scarf.

I'm a BJW at heart and fine with that.

At the young age of 27 shots have already became the death of me. Went out Saturday to catch up the game and sipped on vodka/sodas from 6:00PM - 9:00PM. Probably had roughly 4 during this setting. Fireball started getting slung post game and after 4 shots and 3 more vodkas I was absolutely obliterated. It was the first time in probably a year I was damn near black out drunk. Made out with a complete rando at the bar before trying to take home the girl I had been with most of the night. Said girl who I tried to take home left a note on my car that read "It was fun hanging out until you decided to make out with another girl in front of me, bad move"

jesus....

My problem is I have no filter when I am out good timing with the crew. It's so easy to pound shots when they're being slung at you. Detox for me until Nashville.

All the ankle sprain experts are saying Willis's is low, so it's not too crazy he'll be all right in a week.

I come from a long line of BJWs and I like it that way. I find it comforting. My family Christmas gathering looks like the Hyatt on pregame. My old man's regular get-up includes a UK hat, UK shirt and UK jacket. If I gave him UK shoes and socks, he'd probably wear them, too.

- Great time on Saturday with the crew. Bonz ordered the first round of fireball one hour before to tip. Had another fireball right after the game with someone. Those would be the death of me later that night.

Ughh. That stuff is evil.

Similar to SAE, I was home by 11:00 and the lass said I was cursing jibberish about Pat Adams when I got home.

- Didn't like the flow of that game. A&M made us work our asses off every possession. Defended us really well. Willis was a non factor before getting injured. Ulis had an unreal stat line but felt like he was a little off.

Really happy for Pat Adams to make his presence felt in crunch time. What an ***. That's a judgement call and you're going to decide the game?

Humphries was rebounding his *** off. Needs to play above Skal.

Somebody made a good point the other night.. Does Bama get this kind of treatment in football? No. They get the golden child treatment. We get the opposite in basketball.

- Get healthy by this weekend. Please. This group is due for some breaks.

- CHARLIE.

Well, you see, St. X's mascot is the Tiger, and Trinity's is the Shamrock. So you have the classic "plant v. animal" rivalry - the differences couldn't be more apparent.

I mean, I'm not sending my kids there, but Trinity's a fine school. They each just have a different mission. Unless you have experience/knowledge of the schools I'm sure that sounds silly, but it's true.

Are we talking regular students? Not much.

Are we talking athletes? Gets a little controversial.

I'm talking overall. I can breakdown NKy/Cincy schools. I just have never understood the difference between those two. Is one more preppy? One more urban? One more old money?

Cov Cath and New Cath, for instance, are two entirely different schools. Elder and Moeller/St. X are two entirely different types of kids.

re: Homage gear

-Attempting to peddle BCD shirts got me thinking a little bigger. Love how Homage bases their designs off different sports moments and what not. Decided to take their idea and apply them to UK sports moments.

-I've got several more designs in the works. If I could ever get my **** together, I'd like to get a website goin and see if I could sell a few.

From an outside Catholic in the city, I'd say X draws a little more of the central east Louisville kids and Trinity goes mostly East. So Trinity might be a little more preppy but for the most part it was pretty similar in our view even after being friends with several of both after HS years.

Holy Cross/DeSales draw similar guys.
X/Trinity draw similar.

Again, the reason is geography more than anything. Reason why the high school question is so prevalent.

It took me a second to realize that was not an old, creepy, green hand and was, in fact, a hat.

St. X: Founded in 1864. Xaverian Brothers school. Central location. Old Louisville. Makes zero qualms that it is a college-prep school not best-suited for students with learning challenges. A bit more stodgy and disciplined with students. Comprehensive athletic program/facilities; big campus.

Trinity: Founded in 1953 by the Archdiocese of Louisville. East end/St. Matthews location. Catholic flight/suburban sprawl. Makes zero qualms that they exist to provide a catholic education for all learning levels (very noble and very good at it). A bit more contemporary/laxed discipline with students. Football dominated. Great football stadium; land-locked.

Per Trinity, St. X is a bunch of elitist nerds.
Per St. X, Trinity is a bunch of win-football-at-all-costs meatheads.

Neither is actually true.
