Jay Williams gets it. It doesn't seem like Bilas, Greenberg, Smith and Davis have ever followed college sports. If a college coach doesn't have knowledge of something that happened on their watch, it has never, ever, ever been an excuse to keep their job. I'd guess and say 80% of coaches that have been fired due to violations never actually had direct knowledge of, or oversaw the rule-breaking. And then for those fools to say the Sypher thing has nothing to with this, well yeah, indirectly it does. It shows the environment of what is acceptable on Floyd St. and the example Pitino has set as leader of the program. So it has everything to do with it.
