Thankfully I don't even know because white mountain kids aren't good enough to play at UK.

Who was the redhead kid that transferred to Pikeville under BCG that Beavis wekked to?

If Willis was from EKY he wouldn't have been a space cadet to start his career due to an upbringing in the high cotton of an effete greater metro.

He would've been raised in a much stronger culture of honor & pride and wouldn't need extra motivation to rebound, fight, and defend.

I'm not dogging Willis. I love him.

But, I'm not going to let some river city Papist gloss over the traits that make EKY players special in the eyes of the BBN.

EDIT: KSR writers, I know you troll this thread for easy content ideas instead of thinking things up on your own. DO NOT make a topic out of this (and give Willis a chance to think about it), you dumbasses.

SAE should know that Dairy Queen, McDonald's, Hometown Pizza and Halftimes(local sports bar) are all doing there best to get Bullitt East Derek Willis jersey's.

That is about as good as it gets in Mt Washington!

Sounds like Willis is all jacked up too?Knees and ankle..and now no Lee apparently. :(

Damn we are pretty banged up and with this short turn around tomorrow night will be pretty tough. Aggies will want this one bad especially after sliding down a little after the last couple weeks.

Ramsey's psychotic response that there was no meeting with some of the trustees, came off as a pretty solid admission that there was a meeting with some of the trustees.

Not that it really matters anyway- if he wants out or feels like he'll be pushed out, of course he should be having these types of conversations. That place is more worried about the fact that its KSR reporting some of the issues, than the issues themselves.

I'm greasing the wheels of the Aussie Xpress as well...big fella does stuff, good stuff.

Agree with this. He got a lot of good minutes last night, and did some of the little things you want to see. What really stood out was, this dude's a brute.

Looking like Meat Tuperello out there banging around.

What would possess a president of a major university to step to in intimidation and talk down to a reporter like that? At the same time he's apparently blatantly lying and then calling out the media for their lack of integrity.

They've lost their damn minds over their. Hopefully Mags just keeps poking them.

North Carolina (21–5, 10–3): "They don't play hard all the time. I don't know if it's that they're soft or they just know they're really good and just trying to get through the regular season. [Senior guard] Marcus Paige has been a dud. His body language is bad. Not sure he's the leader you need him to be. You could tell he has been questioning his shot. [Sophomore guard] Joel Berry is much improved. You can try to be physical with [senior forward] Brice Johnson, but his turnaround jump shot is unguardable. I think [junior forward] Isaiah Hicks plays with Brice better than [junior forward Kennedy] Meeks. If you put Meeks in ball screens, that can be problematic. I think they would be better if Meeks didn't play. He's big, he's better than he was, but I think he just clogs up space. They're just O.K. defensively. They're not trying to hang their hat on that."

Well, you see, Louisville. Hope this clears things up.

Friday Takes:

- Big weekend for dad- the oh-so-rare two nights of drinking. It's almost March. Time to get after it.

- Is there any better feeling than that day you finally feel better after being sick for a week or so?

- Maryland probably has the best roster in the country, but they haven't been great all year. Seems everyone of their games is a barnburner. I was curious to see how good of coach Turgeon was and haven't been impressed.

- I get the redass every time I see a Reds fan or media member post about pitchers and catchers reporting on social media. What's to be excited about? Losing 100 games? Call me in 2018.

- Speaking of great rosters, A&M has one. They went through a funk but I love how that team is built. It's going to be a chore beating them sans Poythress and Lee.

- Humphries is good for the simplest of reasons- he's generally in the right spots, he has decent hands, he's physical by presence alone and he does a good job of standing his ground straight up on D. He'll be a nice rotation player next year and a bonafide lottery prospect by '17/'18.

- Few things amuse me more than SAE's provincialism. I know a lot of it is for grins, but deep down, he really feels that way. Reminds me of my dad.

- Loving all this credit Coach K is getting for his 5-man rotation. Look- he is CHOOSING to go with a 5-man rotation. This isn't UK in 1989 with 8 scholarship players. He has guys on the bench he could use, but he doesn't want to.

- So, this season is wide open yadda yadda, but who do you actually LIKE?

I think Michigan State should be the favorite. Valentine is my NPOY and I love how all their guys know their role, and Izzo, of course. I think Arizona makes a run. Good guards and some decent bigs. Kind of under the radar. I like Kentucky with Ulis/Murray. And I like Xavier. Excellent guards and can play at any pace. I also like A&M to make some noise- S16 or so.

Maybe I have too much BJW in me, but I like Kentucky and trust the Cats more than almost any other team. Who has put together a better stretch over the last month than us? Kansas? And we know we can play with them. Also, no one else has Tyler Ulis. Somebody has to win 6 in a row.

I like my team.

Do you feel like these things are rather douche?

-wearing high top LeBrons casually as a balding 40 year old?
-owning a barbie doll porsche with custom plates?
-owning a hot tub?
-naming hot tub?
-installing handicap bars in shower?
-promoting 40th birthday party with invites?
-costume parties?
-spending 6 months truly agonizing over a name for your boat?
