You know, it's that kind of snarky gamesmanship that makes me both like and severely loathe soccer at the same time.
I don't know… he is kind of sexy in a Fred Flintstone/John Goodman sort of way.
Its pretty shocking that guys with middle school education, who make millions of dollars in several countries and run with crooked loons, arent exactly square with their taxes.
Can you imagine the riots if the Brazilian government locked up Neymar? That would be like locking up Lebron or MJ. Can't do that. Hell, it took 20 years to lock up OJ, and that wasn't even for the infamous double murder.

Never knew you could do that on a penalty kick. I thought it was one guy vs the other.

A penalty kick is better than 50-50 to score a goal. Takes some pretty big stones to opt out of that percentage and try something else. If you catch the other team napping like that then it looks brilliant, but if you did it and screwed it up, you'd look like the Seahawks throwing the ball on the one yard line last year.

They were up 3-1 in the 80th minute, so why not? It's only been tried at an elite level a handful of times. It helps to have 2 of the best 5 players in the world executing the play.
Practiced it all the time, never had the balls to pull it off in a game. Mainly due to fear of coach murdering as all. And the fear of missing/screwing it up. Shew. Would never hear end of it.

The guy asked why they don't do it every time. I gave the correct answer to be helpful. The answer is that it's a high percentage chance at something that's typically difficult to do and it's usually not smart to risk that. That's why it isn't done every time.

Looks like I'm out of the GELex for up to 6 months. Apparently a hard shot to the abdomen could result in a ruptured liver or spleen. Being the banger I am, that's a no go. Follow up visit later this week so I'm hopeful the new Doc is let robotic and more real life.

This a result of the Mono? Never heard that before...don't players come back from Mono and play all the time once they're over it? I know it can be awhile, but never heard it being a "season ending" deal, which 6 months would be in any sport except NHL which is 365 days per year.

The theory is that mono can enlarge your liver and spleen and theoretically increase the risk of organ laceration. The incidence is rare, but in someone as soft as Anth, probably real.

6 Months sounded aggressive and I am firing that doctor because he initially diagnosed me with a sinus infection. So hopefully the next doctor gives me a little more hope for my 6th man of the year award.
He also told me to avoid getting punched in the stomach and asked me several times if I used intravenous drugs. Maybe I should have gone to my pharmacists.
