This is what happens when your starting lineup is one or your worst lineups.

[legalbeagle123]

Anyone thinking about passing to Edwards might as well just throw the ball in the first row so our defense can get set up.

[Kennedy_UK]

Tre Mitchell is a horrific defender.

[cut_itloosedoubledeuce]

Cal untucked

[gattongrad09]

Almost miss Tipton to ask him wtf he is doing.

[HymanKaplan_rivals48997]

It's like leaving your answer as: x = 2/4 on your Algebra final.

We're probably the best team in the country at falling down though. We've got that dialed the **** in...

[MrKentucky]

Im so tired of this ****

[btodd0224 n/a?]

Back to standing around on offense and one on one basketball.
Chasing on defense against a cutting, moving team isn’t going to cut it.
Well the moving, passing and uptempo offense was fun before fat *** reverted!

[Ron Mehico]

Damn Bradshaw that looked smooth

[Kennedy_UK]

13 FGA. **** load of tough 2s.

Who didn't see that coming?

[BBdK]

It’s defense. It’s not OMG we changed near as much as yall wanna believe.

Penn 4/5 from 3. And get good shots, open 3 or layup, almost every trip. We’re horrific defensively

[cut_itloosedoubledeuce]

Just keep running!

[gattongrad09]

Its simplistic defense fundamentals too so hope it can get fixed.

[BBdK]

lol. I mean we go on a lil offensive run & then give up 2 more 3s.

Reminder that we were FUN & PROLIFIC vs St Joe and still needed OT bc they scored/bombed at will. It’s a serious problem.

[Ron Mehico]

Another team shooting 85% from 3. Just hoping we can outscore them, we’re not stopping ****.

[legalbeagle123]

Wide open 3's anytime they want it. And now the shots are falling.

[MrKentucky]

Guess we’re gonna be sweating out another one against a mid major. Awesome

[HymanKaplan_rivals48997]

We're terrible defensively. So, the prudent thing to do, would be to shackle the offense, and keep it a low scoring affair. LOL

[UnfrozenCatfanLawyer]

Guess we’re gonna be sweating out another one against a mid major. Awesome

Relax - we were bound to lose 9-10 games this season. It’s not a big deal.

[Kennedy_UK]

It’s defense. It’s not OMG we changed near as much as yall wanna believe.

It's definitely both. We've been dogshit defensively all season.

But our offense is completely different with the addition of Bradshaw. Much more heavy emphasis on primary PnR to initiate the offense. We were effective when we put Tre in a PnR after a pass or two forcing the defense to move (EDIT: usually on the wing, not top of the key). That opened his pick-and-pop. Not to mention a focus on posting Bradshaw, or a high/low with Tre and Bradshaw.

Bottom line. There are at least 3-4 different ways Cal has f*cked up this offense. All of them revolve around forcing our bigs into the offense and clogging the lane.

[SWFLwildcat06]

That meatball Spinoso has fouled Bradshaw like five times w/o a call.

[UnfrozenCatfanLawyer]

[bradyjames_rivals]

Tell him to hit me up. I’ll pay .65 on the dolla.

Kentucky Basketball: John Calipari's "Big Man" camp...

[Kennedy_UK]

Oh, I almost forgot.

With two bigs, Cal can run his favorite floppy sets. FML...

[Hank Camacho_rivals115797]

I don't think The Clown likes Calipari.

[SWFLwildcat06]

This f’ing guy getting the Tyler Hansbourgh whistle today. Good grief

[legalbeagle123]

And now the dribbling out the clock strategy kicks in.

[HymanKaplan_rivals48997]

I don't think The Clown likes Calipari.

Yeah, "I'M" the *******...

I have to go to a Holiday gathering at one of my wife's friends' house* in a couple of hours, so I woke up in a bad mood. So yeah, I'm probably being way more critical than the Kentucky team deserves

*(Where is COVID when you NEED it?)

[gattongrad09]

Reeves is such a good offensive player so bad at defense. He is what he is on D but many of these guys should improve drastically just hope its not end of march.

[Vismund]

Nick "Kobe Bryant/Michael Jordan/Lebron James/Steph Curry" Spinoso getting the primo whistle today.

[jwheat]

It’s his natural response. It was inevitable after Wilmington.

When we play the two bigs I want it to be:

Wagner
Reed
Reeves
Mitchell
Bradshaw

The two bigs aren’t the problem if there are three legitimate guards on the floor. Not one of cals tweeners that have stagnated our offense for years now

[WayneDougan_rivals170043]

And now the dribbling out the clock strategy kicks in.

This is ******, man.

[Kennedy_UK]

Digging Shep's stache. Running out to audition for Super Troopers 3 after the game.

[Catman100]

Gosh I love that ****** slow down Cal offense he runs last 5-6 minutes. Just love it.

[WayneDougan_rivals170043]

They've scored like 1 point running it too. Cal sucks.

[gattongrad09]

Lol welcome to the show Rob.

[HymanKaplan_rivals48997]

Reeves is such a good offensive player so bad at defense. He is what he is on D but many of these guys should improve drastically just hope its not end of march.

I'll be the first to admit that I don't know all that much about basketball, and maybe there's no statistical justification behind my opinion that we ALWAYS seem to be bad defensively (the last half decade plus anyway)

Why should that be? We've got athletic guys, why do they constantly seem to struggle with that?

[AIChatGPT]

Cal just can’t help himself. Team should have scored 120 and won by 40

I won’t watch next week
