Welp… if you were on Aylesford ‘90-‘91, I apologize for our bi-weekly keg party annoyance. I was in studio for half of them…my room was used to a point where I padlocked it. Lots of cops! The house was known as The Players Club (homage to Telly Sevalis commercial). Southwest corner of Euclid /Aylesford with Dutch gambrel roof… now overgrown in ivy and ****.

Also infamous for dragging a 30-person fight from Two Keys to this locale after one dude punched an undercover cop in front of the Ho. That lasted for a bit.

Spencer Steer is right there with Carroll, too. Nearly even across the board. I don't understand the lovefest with Carroll. Solid numbers, but shouldn't be considered a shoo-in for ROY.

Elly scored from first on a ball that didn't even reach the warning track, wasn't misplayed, and had a good throw home. I doubt that's happened many times ever. I'm sure @Ron Mehico can find the stat.

Braised short ribs at Tony's the other night. Very good, not mind-blowing. I've had better meals at other high end steakhouses for sure. Not ordering a steak was probably a mistake. Just had a hankerin' and ordered accordingly. The horseradish mashed potatoes were 🔥 tho.

Starting to have some concern about Tayvion Robinson and Dekel Crowdus. They're getting called out by Stoops and Coen pretty frequently. Get on board dudes, epic season awaits. Pumped to see A. Brown get to work. Seems like a Wandale clone.

Pumped about Wilcox. Know some people down here that have been around the kid a lot say he was deadlifting 600 lbs this spring.

Also said he lived in a car for two years before moving in with another family. Can't help but root for people like that.

Donation made to the College Football Pick'em fund. Decidedly *not* an elite handicapper...yet.

I lived in the house directly across from the frat (was it Sigma Chi?) near the end of Aylesford in the summer of '94.

Lived in the ****** basement with 3 of my friends and it was horrendous. We only lasted until August when one of the guys decided to bounce and move to San Diego. I do remember watching the OJ car chase while living there.

We managed to get out of the lease and were part of the inaugural class of residents at Royal Lexington. We belonged in a basement.

Boat captains do the fake pee all the time. It’s such a dumb rule, would you rather your boat captain be hungover and hate his life while your family’s life and yours are in their hands or have a captain that smoked weed the night before?

Hell, I’d rather mine be smoking as we’re leaving the dock than hungover.

And to be fair, I’ve been both. And I’d much rather be the high cappy than the hungover cappy.

Volare has Braised Short Rib at $44 I think. Pretty sure $56 is within reason depending on all the things that make beef anything from USDA to Wagyu.

The damn Brewers man. Swept against LA only to sweep the Rangers and take the first two against the Twins. Both of those teams lead their divisions.

It just feels like the Brewers are separating when they shouldn’t be.

Short ribs in restaurants are often just a cut down chuck roast.

It's just not a wise order for a diner to make.

Get this... I also ordered a paper plane and it was..... $14!!!!!

Not only that, after the meal, I gave the server like 40 extra bucks!!!!! What a mark!
