Yep. I feel like we had a string of next Herschel Walker/OJ Simpsons during the late 80s to early 90s and none of them materialized.

Did you cover Eric Gray for the Kernel? Do you remember what went south on that situation between Spring and Fall?

I remember Eric Gray, but my memory is really fuzzy on the details at this point.

My biggest Derek Smith memory is him catching a 97-yard TD pass from Lorenzen to start a game down at Ole Miss. It was the last time I attended a game just as a fan. We lose our minds in the stands. It gets called back on holding. Ole Miss scores the next 35 points unanswered and we leave in the 3rd quarter.

If you’re not playing Etown spades, joker, joker, deuce, ace with 6 bags youre not really bout it anyway.
Lol Etown

Nobody gives a solitary **** about Etown or anything about it. Antwain Barbour was the last (first) good thing Etown ever gave us, and that's the list.

I knew a few people from Radcliff that would say they were from Etown back in the day because nobody gave a **** about Radcliff, but they were too ignorant to know that nobody gave a **** about Etown, either.

Dad and I were there. Left around the same time. Reminds me of the time he took us to Jackson, MS in the 80’s. We got beat senseless by Ole Miss. No idea why the game was there.

Ha, fall of 86. I was there. I think back then they played a couple of games in Jackson each year.

Which we did not know until we arrived in Oxford after driving all night, and everyone was leaving campus to drive 3 hours further south. 🙁

For the life of me I can never remember this name. He was the bowling ball RB that maybe played in one or two games but in one he absolutely went off.

I probably am screwing up details, but that's how I remember it. Maybe he's already been mentioned.

Ever see these protests about random niche causes on social media and think how do these people have all this pent-up energy and anger about that?

That’s the way I feel about our uniforms (especially football) and branding. It’s getting better, but no where near potential.

-Hot take: I don't care for the power K with the black outline. Gimme the OG. Was it Pitino that started messing with the logo?

-Video conference calls suck ***. Just do a conference call. Why do I want to stare at these people that I'm not taking the time to meet in person? I haven't left my video on since May 2020.

-Started this new activity, since my back has been a little jacked up, it's called walking. Similar to jogging, but slower. Not too bad.

-Boring weekend on tap and I couldn't be more excited. Don't think we have 1 single plan. (*WS you better not pop in with a list of **** we have to do. Let me have this.)

-Accidently grabbed a Crips Pink apple yesterday. I don't even know how that piece of **** got in our house but it basically ruined my day. Once you've moved on to Cosmic Crisp, there's really no turning back.

-Think I'm gonna go pick up some fresh threads for the season.

-If I could paint a perfect weather day, today would be it. 82/62... sublime.

Meh, invaluable for sales. Can share presentations / illustrations / projections with financial advisors and the meetings are much more productive and have resulted in higher close rates.

Sure, if you're just on a call where one person is dominating the conversation and everyone else just an observer with no visual aid is needed, do a regular call. But that's the fault of the idiots setting the meeting, not the medium itself.

Do agree with you on the black outline. Again, simpler the better.

- Power K, no black stripe. One game a year go back to that uni/helmet we wore in the Ohio U. debacle several years ago. It was a fire look, might as well bring it back against some FCS school and exorcise that demon.

- One result of the conference realignment game is that it reduces the number of schools that someone like Stoops will leave their SEC/Big Ten/Big 12 job for. Not that it's a long list to begin with, but there's no way you leave for a school outside those three conferences if you're already in one of them. Exception: Notre Dame.

- Not sure there's an MLB team that has a better array of home/road unis and caps right now than the Milwaukee Brewers. Every look of theirs is terrific.

- Enjoying the LLWS....America's last (relatively) pure major national sports event. Love everything about it.

- Such a letdown when you go celebrate someone's birthday and they decided they wanted an ice cream cake. Get out of here with that nonsense.
