How many moves you made in last 24 mos?
Last 12 mos, KW—>Columbia, KY—>Lexington—>St Pete in exactly one year.

-Sat next to Reed Shepard, Jeff and I’m guessing little sister on the flight here. Reed is pretty flipping jacked for an incoming freshman. I like it.

-Bout to hit up the Teak where my friend works out on the pier for some fresh grouper tacos in about 30.

— So funny seeing Columbia Kentucky mixed in with those other destinations

Speaking of Columbia, their zaxbys should be done in the next couple months. It’s not canes but zax has been there for me in some tough times #fat

— my little girls last coach pitch tournament today. This our third august of playing it’s been a wild ride. We went from the kid in the outfield who would dance to the other kids walk up songs, pick dandelions in the outfield, and was part of the rotation to be subbed out to starting third base an just snapped little girls off and throwing it across the diamond for the out.

I’m tough on her but she’s turned into a heck of a ball player. Not the biggest or the strongest but I’ll be damn if we don’t grind out there. #girldad

She’s moving up to live arm and little brother is just getting his toes wet with coach pitch. We go to cambellsville with him to get smacked next weekend.

It’s a tiring time but I wouldn’t trade watching my kids play ball for any thing in the world.

Luke Weaver should have been put down last start against the Cubs. It’s a shame they just decided to skip him in the rotation instead.

Rotation and bullpen is worn down, they should have made moves for pitchers if they wanted to push for the playoffs.

Nothing better than a FO that can’t look ahead.

The baseball equivalent of FAFO. I would imagine there are a lot of guys around the league waking up with a bit of a snake oil grin this morning after seeing Anderson get embarrassed.

I mean, it honestly doesn’t even look like Ramirez punch landed to me.

But I also don’t understand why everyone seems happy to see Anderson get knocked out either, like he deserved it for something?

He got stunned not knocked out. Everyone calls everything a knockout these days, he got up immediately but he def got caught.

That being said, Ramirez was throwing blind bombs that would have zero shot of hitting anyone that trains. I mean, head down, eyes closed and you land a lucky punch, nothing to get excited about.

Reading laymen talk about fighting on social just reaffirms that 99.9% of people haven’t ever been in a real fight or know anything about one. Not that being in a fight is cool(Wynn excluded of course, he seems pretty cool), I’m saying people (this may blow your mind) talk about things on the internet they have zero experience or knowledge about.

Yeah, instead of being a professional baseball player making millions of dollars, he should have been doing MMA training with degenerates.

That’s exactly what I said, you’re right 🙄. I’m pretty sure it was clear that it was a lucky shot and everyone wants to act like he landed some superbomb and “knocked him out” which is asinine.

Don’t make me WynnDuffy you Wayne.

-So are you back in the keys and too bored to live like you were living in central KY still posting 100x a day?

I can’t imagine what my life would be like if I lived in the Keys. Honestly scared to think about it, but I have an idea of what it wouldn’t be.

-That said, the cubs have a shot to finish a huge week 5-2 with Steele going today. I honestly expected 3-4 at best so I’m >< close to buying in to a playoff push. September schedule looks like a gauntlet though.

- Little league fall ball starts today. 100-200 swings a day, several grounders and pop ups, some throwing to boot………can’t wait.

- Perfect day for some beers, a pool and some fried chicken, taters and corn on the cobb.

-I don’t want my own kids much less anyone else’s, sorry cut. For $100/hour I will I reckon.

-Not in the Keys krazy, I did my time there and after a decade there’s not a whole lot to do you haven’t done already 100x.

I’m moving to St Pete this time. Real world, real stores, real airport, real sports, way more chicks etc.

Gal pal is working so I’ve been at the gym and whatnot. Bout to hit the movies with the Florida family before going out for apps and beers when she’s off work.

If you’ve ever been there then you’d know a lot more random cool historical stuff about St Augustine. A tour of the fort, old mail and a drive around the city tour teaches you about the role in wars the city played, the history of the Flaglers who also have a colle in town that I’d just about offer my kids to pay for it if it drug their mother down there.

Regardless, by far my favorite spot in the 48 states. Crescent Beach specifically just 5 minutes outside the tourism part of the place.

Id sell everything discounted right now to move tomorrow.

For what it’s worth let me say this:
Until this series I wasn’t too worried…
Cubs impressed me though…
Keeping hot after they smoked the Reds

You don’t need to be classless though
One shouldn’t be petty about a close series
Unsavory comments don’t help anyone

But it will be interesting how this goes…
I think Cubs will win their division
Too good of an offense not to
Cincinnati is basically finished now
Hope we can be friends in October

We can be friends today, but this was a huge series for us, and a huge week so I’m punching down today.

You been talking smack until your TBS team got smacked!

I feel as if I have entered a new realm of understanding. I hope that it lasts.

Edit - it didn’t. Goddamnit.

These north fort Thomas bitches that just let their little ******** dogs piss all over my front lawn. I mean they dutifully pick up their ****, which I appreciate (and enjoy watching from my top window), but the little shitfu**ers piss all over my beautifully cultivated zoysia lawn, leaving brown mark after brown mark. It’s not acceptable.

Rising 3rd and 5th graders received their football assignments today. Full pads, starting tomorrow. Fall starts now.

One more week of preschool tuition, and then I’m a freed man for fuckingever. Three boys in Catholic school for a month is $150 less than one boy in private preschool for a month. That’s an eye opener. That’s where a society breaks down, right there.

I may be way late to the party here, I’ve not kept up. I just needed to say that if you’re NOT watching The Righteous Gemstones, then you’re missing out. Walt Goggins kills it. Uncle Baby Billy is amazing.

That is all.
