With the letter from President Bush and it being his press secretary that owned it. I am almost sure the autograph is real. But will have PSA/DNA or Beckett(Steve Grad) authenticate it at the National that starts Wednesday luckily. Their opinion is what folks pay big $ in items like this.Just out of curiosity, how do you authenticate it? Obviously, that would be a difficult card/letter to forge but just wondering how you go about ensuring it’s real?
I’d rather have a Bill Clinton card signed by Monica Lewinsky.
On a flight to pick up the rarest card I have ever owned. This will be the second one found. Back in 1990 Topps presented President Bush 100 cards of him playing at Yale. For over two and half decades none surfaced. Finally, a few years ago 7 of the White House issued cards surfaced from a former employee. One was signed by Bush. That one isn’t in great shape. It graded a PSA 6.
Yesterday, a gentleman contacted me with one signed by Bush given to his Press secretary. With it is an amazing letter from Bush. Talking about his stats and the cards value in the future. Also, signed. So we agreed on a number and caught the first flight out to meet in the airport
It will probably be one of the few high end items I just refuse to sell. I’ve always wanted the White House issue Bush card and thought it would be impossible. But to have one signed by him with a letter from President Bush is wild.
Can’t describe the emotion you will feel when you get your bags. So, after having seen Paris and most of its offerings, and having still not been reunited with one of our bags (last time we saw was in Nashville), we went to Omaha Beach/Normandy today. My granddad and namesake landed there about three weeks after D-Day. I don't have the words to describe it. We arrived at the American Cemetery right at the end of a ceremony and got to hear Star-Spangled Banner and Taps.

Everyone loves to see a stacked/star leaderboard Sunday afternoon, but when you have 1 guy playing an entirely separate game from the rest of the field, you gotta tip your cap. Take him out, and you’d have had exactly that.
Just incredible stuff. Essentially a wire to wire cruise control on an extremely difficult course (and today, conditions)
Guy is 5’7/155. Been grinding & competing well for a long time, just been difficult for him to actually WIN vs the beasts of today.
Wasn’t very exciting, but Good for him!
-190 to win last night was hella value btw.
So is Harold Baines.Scott Rolen is a Hall of Famer.

Message me your address and I’ll send you one. There is only one baseball card I have any interest in owning:
The Billy Ripken **** FACE cardz
My main thoughts, watching the Open were:
Chumps has GOT to be livid
and
I hope UKO hates Harman
You got any them Dick Pole cards or that one super huge glove Mickey Hatcher outfielder card? I’d at least pay postage. Someone told me it was rare and I don’t believe em because I had two of em.Message me your address and I’ll send you one.
I'm not a European history guy, but wasn't Austria part of Germany during the time of Mozart? Or at least Austria and Germany were part of the same "empire?"
Mozart was born when Austria was part of the Holy Roman Empire which included both what is now Austria and Germany.
I just know that when Austria and Germany "collaborate" things tend to get out of hand.
They're just not a very good, second half team.
