Swarmy or swarthy? Expected better from a NKY CoC up and comer.

"Staff of Creative Bartenders", get outta here, just pour me a drink Coach. I don't need a monologue on the smoky flavors and rich texture. Creative bartender to me is the guy who puts the poker chip in front of your drink to recognize he's got your next round on the house.

Expecting better than 7-6 but realistic. Weaker NIL possibilities means transfer portal is our future. That said, Only so many DI QB jobs and no longer allows Bama/Georgia to stockpile QBs. Some good prospect will look to immediate time in SEC.

Both fit, imo.

Official Drink of Wimbledon is the Pimm's Cup, yet another refreshing Gin sipper.

-These guys gonna have a real tough time catching Harman if the weather turns tomorrow as expected & birdies are scarce....could be a real snoozer, hopefully not.

Gin n Sprite, and a splash of grenadine is a nice refreshing summer beverage.
This is basically a dirty Shirley you touching 19 year old female. 😉

- 🙄 @SAECATFAN thinking throwing zyn packages on the ground is okay, Jesus man trash is trash.

Did you also spit used tobacco chaw in the water fountain?

I like the rogue pouches the best though, not even because it’s my name they just hit harder.

The new pouches with caffeine and nootropics are pretty dope too but wish it was more than 30mg caffeine, I won’t even notice that. Yup it too 1-200 and we’re cooking.

-Speaking of trash, currently getting a huge effing Native American Thunderbird on my abdomen. #Classy

The ribs and abs flipping hurt getting tatted, that I do know.

-Haven’t watched any of the Open due to no cable. Crazy how little I’ve missed TV.

-Finished Jack Carr’s newest Terminal List book, Only The Dead, damn good as they all have been. Already bought another I hadn’t realized I missed.

They’re basically like James Bond books but he’s a SEAL not a spy and not necessary to read in order.

-Will hit up the street festival in Chevy Chase tomorrow. Be nice seeing all the pales outside for once in their life, reapplying sunscreen every 37 seconds lol. No really I’m looking forward to food and a beer or two with the dog out.

- @cut_itloosedoubledeuce i fired someone last year for the first time, ended up being too easy for me but she also sucked so whatevs.

- USWNT plays in World Cup tonight at 9.
- RIP Tony Bennett.

- Hey dog people, when I look over on New Circle and it looks like your 70 pound Golden Retriever is driving, you need to get him out of your &%$#ing lap before you kill somebody.

Fill wine glass up to top with ice
1/3 aperol
2/3 Prosecco - don’t need anything fancy a josh Prosecco will do
Splash club soda
Squeeze of orange and drop orange slice in

Wodie - I remember you repping a cocktail years ago, but I can't remember where you ordered it. I've always wanted to try one. IIRC it was a Gin and Tonic, but the Tonic was made in house, and the Gin had been infused with hot peppers, so in essence, a bespoke spicy G&T, does that ring a bell?

Bottle of sapphire and a cocktail glass in the freezer = instant martini. Pour and drink LOL
(I actually go four to one on the gin/vermouth. People get stupid dumb bragging about how dry their martinis are. Congratulations on drinking NOT a martini. You're one step away from skid row)

Also, I picked up a standard fifth of Makers for highballs. They've either changed something or my palate has morphed. It tastes like straight ***, even mixed with club soda. I mean, it's never been my favorite, but was a steady eddy with mixers.

My well-meaning wife, YEARS ago, bought me a really nice straight walled martini pitcher, complete with the crystal stirrer. She doesn't drink martinis, and really, nobody I hang out with drinks them either, so...
I like to bend the elbow more than your average bear, but drinking a GD PITCHER of martinis, solo, seems reckless. (It's never been used. It looks nice on the bar though.)

Wynn - They're high powered alcohol bullets, straight to the brain.
Beefeaters probably makes the best. a lot of punch/no f***ing around. It holds it's mustard, no matter how much the bartender over shakes it.

-re: traditional gin, Mrs Rudd is a Hendricks gal...she will enjoy the small batch botanical stuff as well.

-Rosebud used to have these pickled tomatoes that they used as garnish in their martinis...incredible.

-blue cheese stuffed olives are a snack staple at our place.

In college, we used to have this pre-game thing called gin buckets. Two handles of the cheapest gin possible, two 2-liters of Sierra Nevada, bunch of cut up and squeezed limes, over ice in a giant stainless steel/aluminum boiling pot.

Then, a number of individuals stand around the bucket and pass turkey basters back and forth until the bucket is done. You drink the gin from a turkey baster. You can’t refuse or delay the baster when it is passed to you. You get real drunk, real quick.

Ideally, you have 10-12 doing it, takes about 10 minutes. 8 people is really the bare minimum, that’s a quarter handle of gin per person, quickly and straight to the dome. Did that probably a hundred times on random Tuesday nights. I did a few 4 men buckets, but you don’t remember anything about seven minutes after that first baster is passed, unless you have a lot of drugs, which are advisable under that circumstance

Jesus Christ, I didn’t mean to break Gyero. Airyone else ever binge drink or do some drugs?

Just bought some nice tickets to Jethro Tull at the PNC pavilion - three tickets. My wife, my dad, me. Tull was the second concert he ever took me to, so we’re going to enjoy this, and let that ***** drive the car.

Speaking of dad rock, an album he absolutely grew me up on - Yes, Close to the Edge. Anyone else? Hell of an album.

*I'm not mad at the occasional scratch-off at all- the brief thought of a cash windfall and what you would do with it is worth the buck or two. But we don't have a lottery in Alabama and it's something that I hope the state never adopts. We have way too many people struggling financially that don't need to be tempted into throwing more money away.

*Last week's human trafficking case from a nearby interstate took a quick turn whenever even the slightest information from the police was released, and then yesterday the flood gates open. A tip for those who want to disappear- don't google things from a phone you are going to leave behind for investigators that include:

  • How to steal from a cash register
  • Maximum age for Amber alerts
  • Do you have to pay for amber alerts
  • the movie "Taken"
  • One-way bus ticket costs

*Have to tip my hat to her and her family who are going down with her story though- that she was abducted and blindfolded, fed cheeze-its in the back of an 18-wheeler before breaking free only to realize she was in her own neighborhood and simply walking home. Black twitter has been relentless on her, rightfully so, which has provided some hilarity to an otherwise sad situation.

*On the cusp of making it two weeks of solo parenting, and I gotta say the trains have been running a lot smoother with my ways of operating. Improvise, adapt, overcome.

*A bit disappointed that there wasn't a Spake lounging by the lake sighting by Geese. Lake Norman was a great spot to hit back when I lived in Charlotte- although it seems to be quite a bit more crowded these days.

*I think Golf broadcasts are making an easy product into something more difficult. Here's what people want to see: The most amount of golf shots played by the top/most popular players. Shot tracer and other data is a plus, and obviously cut away to extreme great shots or absolute howlers.

*I have not received any updates on reptile man and the scared american airlines gal but I will NOT be simply letting that situation go without additional information and answers. Waiting on the lady to come out of hiding, assuming she is still with us.

*Also congrats to every single person I know with a kid playing little league- bc ALL of them have won their world series. Every single one. Nobody finished 2nd.
I was laughing with someone the other day about the all baseball kids win rings phenomenon. Maybe it’s not true but sure does seem like all get that participation ring.

As a keep, I always liked when someone order a martini no vermouth. I’d reply oh you just want a chilled glass of vodka/gin eh? I got you boss!

Those people usually tip well because they have money, just want to get drunk and relax.
