-I’m a few days behind and just getting caught up, but wanted defend my water bottle. I have a 24oz (royal blue) Takeya bottle, much less obnoxious than a Stanley. I bought a Stanley once and sent it back, it was too big and sucking on a straw repetitively will give you lip wrinkles. (Yeah, there’s a doc X joke in there somewhere.) And @anthonys735 can’t say **** about me moving all his stuff when I get in his car. When he gets in mine, he flips out about how dirty my car is and all the stuff everywhere.

-So my one of my neighbors (or a passerby?) called the police today. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Someone called because they heard a kid screaming “mommy don’t hurt me!” It was G screaming hysterically because he had gotten a splinter in his toe. He wouldn’t calm down and let me get it out and just kept screaming. Someone probably thought I was beating him. Between me and the officer we got the splinter out with a needle. But how embarrassing! And Luke had no pants on b/c potty training so we looked like a hot mess. Oh and G has a black eye (got it at camp last week while we were away) and he had re-blacked it this weekend wrestling 40Proof and the @CSC81 kids so yeah.

I thought you were a South End girl. This sounds like some straight Portland **** right here.

- Once again, I am confronted with testing myself and trying to choose between those four Stones albums. It’s impossible.

- “please, sister morphine, turn my nightmares into dreams….”

- last night I emerged from the western North Carolina wilderness for the first time in about a week. Going in the woods really, really deep is about the best thing you can possibly do for your head.

- I’ve explained my dependence/reliance on various substances in here before - but I will say this - the man confronting nothing but wilderness, with a pure brain, is a good place to be.

- send me dead flowers for my wedding, and I won’t forget to put roses on your grave.

If I were ever captured by Mexican drug lords and they pulled out a chainsaw and were about to start chopping me up with it, I'd freak out, start screaming, kick, punch and do whatever I could to get away. But it would still be 10X more calm and reserved than how my kids act when I come at them with a needle and tweezers to remove a splinter. If Anth and WS's kid is the same I can understand the neighbor's concern.

Damn it, man! Are you Cubs fan or a Reds fan? State your true allegiance now!

I don’t have to hate the reds to love the cubs. I hate the Cardinals and the Brewers and I’ve explained when I became a Cubs fan as a kid when St Louis took the Redbirds out of Louisville and I know it wasn’t a long gap between Redbirds and Riverbats, but the year between the Redbirds were a brewers team.

When that happened I purposefully began cheering the rival cubs. They were the worst team in the division in 1999 so I wasn’t jumping on a bandwagon. Eventually 03 happened and I was hook line and sinker a cubs fan.

That said, even as a kid and a Cardinals fan I never had issue with the Reds. Sabo, Davis, Rijos, Dibble etc you kidding me? What makes it fun to me is that it’s rarely a situation where both the Cubs and Reds are good and I have to “choose”.

We suck this year whether you realize it or not, so this is a fun thing to watch.

These reds fans here have issue with the cubs? Cool, IDGAF. They aren’t a rival to me, but it will be fun in 2 years when our timeline collides with these young guys they have, and we are easily 2 years from anything real.

Top 5 hated teams for me

Cardinals, Brewers, Yankees, Dodgers and Astros

-Kayaked down there Elkhorn with my two oldest buds yesterday, damn that was fun. We had a good laugh at how at 40 were canoeing without drinking beer and smoking weed the whole time just enjoyed the conversation and company.

Hitting the gorge up with them for a hike soon as our next outing.

-If you signed up and use Threads I don’t get you.

If you have FB, IG, TikTok, Twitter already are you actually thinking, “I could use some more personal time posting on another social media site.”

I have IG & it posts to FB. Don’t see how anyone could want/need more than that.

I already think whatever those “quotes” are under people’s avatar in the messages on IG is too much. I don’t need to see your cutesie QOTD or attention seeking question.

There’s enough social is all I’m saying.

-The fellas always with the question, “What’s it going to take for you to want to settle down?”

Not sure why everyone wants everyone else to “settle down”, I mean the word “settle” is actually the first word…but I did say I’m definitely not opposed to have a gf, that would be great actually, just don’t want kids or marriage.

-Flying out around 9p tonight, fresh beard trim and haircut, nice tan going on, ready to be out and about in the sunshine state.

-The Bear was awesome, blew through both seasons in about a week.

-Stopping at all 3 Schwab’s before leaving town just to forewarn them and make sure they keep an eye out. Account should be locked and 3 alerts are supposed to pop up if they come in asking to transfer money.

Makes me nervous leaving my dad alone with the POS scheming.

Have a fantastic week GYERO-ians. 😃

First place at the All Star break. 9 games over .500. 5th best record in the NL. Some dudes coming back this summer. Most electrifying rookie in years doing things.

I mean, there’s two ways to look at this. Some people might say this has been a fun couple of months. Some might say pump the breaks.
Just picked up the Wake stud pitcher in the draft.

I'm pretty sure we all know who he is speaking of.

** It’s GYERO Night at GABP. Reds vs the 2nd place Brewers. We’re all in the Diamond Club. Domestos flowing. La Rosas and Skyline Coneys for days. Full spread. The works, really.

Bottom of the 9th. Tie game. Bases loaded. Ella De La Cruz is at bat. He points his bat at Wildcat Willy followed by a quick wink. A UKO fat head pinata drops down from a chopper and lands on the hood of the Toyota Tundra. EDC yokes one straight towards the Tundra nailing the UKO fat head piñata into a thousand pieces. The Reds win. Crowd goes bananas causing GABP to shake. **

Same for this Cubs fan. Rack.

Hate the Cubs all you want, but typically both teams are fighting for mid to lower NL Central Rankings and out of contention. The older I get, if my team is sucking and one of my friends teams is in contention, Im happy for them because I'm not a douche, and actually like seeing my friends happy when a team they support wins.

But if people want to act like Tennessee fans, its whateves.

And Reds fans, as long as the Ricketts own the Cubs, you guys have nothing to worry about. Be happy for your team's success and hope the Reds don't do what they typically do, get rid of their talent.

If you can work #3 (NASCAR) into a southern rock/country song I usually am a fan.

Cadillac Three nails it on White Lightning.

Even as not a huge nascar fan, something about Sr. just moves me. Dude was a beast, literally no effs given I mean he died to secure his team a win… how many others have that insane dedication?

And if you grew up in the 80s and 90s the NASCAR fans around you either hated him or talked about him like he was a god on the track.

Of the top 7 teams in baseball based on payroll, only 1 is in 1st in their division (the Dodgers are tied with the Diamondbacks).

If you want to prove to me you're a basic *****, slack jawed, mouthbreathing, casual, dumbass fan, just insist the reason your team doesn't win is because the owner won't spend more money.

Speaking of which --> the Braves are without question the best franchise in baseball right now. They brought up a huge collection of talent, signed most of their key pieces to team-friendly, long term contracts to buy out the start of their free agency, and have the majority of their incredibly talented roster under control for years to come. The Mets, who are awful, spend as much on their top 5 players as the Braves (with the best record in MLB) do on their entire roster.

For the millionth time, if you hit the GD truck you don't get ****.

The sign between the smokestacks that says "RED HITS SIGN, FAN WINS TUNDRA" is the target. Not the impossible to hit truck.

And if nobody hits the sign by the last homestead, they either make that whole section the target or have some sort of drawing on the field where a contestant from each of the 6 Cincinnati and Northern KY Toyota Dealers participate and one of them wins the truck.

Or it gets donated to a local fire or police department.

Wow. That's a good looking truck, justa. Congrats.

My boss has a '22 and I love it.

If I had real GYERO money, I would get a new Sequoia Capstone.
