He’s been touting the billions of $$ in nba contracts for years now. Might as well tap into those guy’s star power.
Cal has at least 8-9 former Kentucky players in the league each making over $30m (with Fox just shy at $28m).

Collectively, 1% of that would be about $2.5 - $3 million. Time to pass the hat mfers...

I have an MMJ card and own a gun. Thought it was just not allowed to have a carry permit? 🤷‍♂️
-I have both in Florida and never had a problem.

Just the backwardsness of allowing people to have booze and guns but not weed is epically stupid.

And yes catlanta there was plenty of nuance in that story for sure. Just didn’t realize that was a thing.

-Anyone else not use sheets? Pointless to me, just get tangled in them. Comforter is all I need.

-Anyone have a lead on a good lawyer in Bowling Green/Allen County? I would just be cold calling offices.

-Thinking about just AirBNBing my house when I leave instead of renting, not sure which would be easier/more convenient/more money.

But it would mean I could leave my furniture there which would be amazing. It will not fit in any place I get in St Pete.

-Bout to go on a little psycho gym/food run. Fell off a bit, ready to touching kill for a bit. I’m only #216 right now which makes me want to hit a cycle and wear baggy clothes to the gym for a bit…

You can definitely make more money with an Air bnb if you have a nice setup or good location. It's also more hassle unless you have a good property manager.

My biz partner and I managed several short term rentals for a while. I'd be happy to talk with you about it.

There’s a lot of short term rental regulation coming in the near future that could require you to get a conditional use permit for new STR’s. Based of the area you’ve said you live it would be really easy to rent to older students/young professionals for long term.

Plus as long as your rental income is less than 50k a year no taxes to the city, which I know you prefer.

I’ll hit you up 80.

Yeah Tates Creek right between MOW and 4. Travel nurses, young professionals, single family one kid are all ideal. College kids are a hard no obviously.

I’m still doing renos either way to make it nicer, 1) for value 2) I have the time and need to stay occupied.

I Air BnB'd my own house for a few years when it was just me here, and it was great. My best year I made ~ $20k, and that was just renting it out when I was planning on traveling anyways. I would make sure to sit down with someone like 80 and go over best practices for setting rules and such. I found that 95% of renters are great, and the other 5% are absolutely terrible and you'll want to call the cops.

The apps let you do things like....

- don't rent to anyone without getting your final okay
- don't rent to anyone unless they have a 5-star rating
- don't rent to anyone unless they have X number of recent positive reviews

Man, filtering out for things like that will make your life 100x easier. Most of the time I walked back into my house and it was cleaner than when I left.

It's absolutely criminal that he didn't live to see Blood Meridian come to life in a movie. If any of his novels were made for the big screen, it was that. I may be 89 years old myself when it happens, but I can't wait to watch it when it eventually gets finished.

Well it seems that Danny McBrides shows get more and more absurd each season. No telling what is going to happen.

Hold on. Rogue you sleep straight on top the mattress with no sheets?

I “burrito” the sheets like a damn cocoon somehow in middle of night. Lass is none too happy. Will say since we got the Purple 4 I can tell my quality of sleep and tossing/turning have greatly improved.

- Not sure there was a more non-game, live, "goosebump" moment than standing there with a raucous, salivating crowd at Rupp than when John Wall came down from the rafters. I couldn't even count the high-fives, fist bumps, and strong hugs from random strangers in my life.

Get this NIL LaFamilia Club going, Cal.

- Give me Bob Barker asking Johnny Olsen or Rod Roddy for the "next contestant on THE PRICE IS RIGHT!" as the George Washington of 80s pop culture as a "sick" kid on a school day Mount Rushmore.

- The Keeneland Track Kitchen is a serious hidden gem. As always, Keeneland does EVERYTHING right. Took a lass there last week, and ended hooking up with a random, elderly quartet from Arkansas showing them the whole place. It was awesome to hear and see them talk amazingly about our Commonwealth (they were Razorback and Oaklawn fans), while giving them a tour of the grounds I love.

- Waking up at 3am, turning over, grabbing a bottle of water off the night stand, and downing it is an underrated feeling.

- 007 373 596 (Tyson) and up-up-down-down-left-right-left-right-B-A-start (Contra) are the GOATS of video games codes.

- Give me a Ball State blood bath at noon on September 2, Stoops.

Justa, that’s the “fitted” sheet and of course I have that, otherwise your mattress would be gross quickly. Hell , I have a mattress protecting sheet under that.

I’m speaking of the regular sheet that goes between you and the comforter. Just a nightmare and pointless, like you said you’re all wrapped up in it and your wife is pissed. Just don’t use it, problem solved.

We use 2 seperate twin or full comforters. So we each get one. Great marriage as a result.

I’m putting a ceiling fan up in place of the light fixture this week or next. Can’t remember the last time I didn’t have a ceiling fan and I hate not having it, feel like a peasant.

Always kick a leg out too.
