Cal curb stomped UNC last year, that's for certain. I had a great seat.

Lmao at UKO over on IC btw. Nothing to see here...UNC looks fantastic! Very deserved 17 spot drop for arguably the worst preseason #1 of the modern era.

[Vismund]

I know UKO's bum *** isn't in here talking about beating teams with a pulse when UNC has only beat a bunch of scrub teams too (and barely, at that) but is 0-2 vs P5.

FOH.

It is almost like UKO doesn't actually care about sports other than as an excuse to be a dickhead on the internet...

-24 years of marriage, gang. Time flies. Dudley's tonight.

-hosted 22 folks Thursday, seamless.

-ordered a nice synthesizer on Friday. There are worse mid-life crises, I reckon.

-we will miss C-Rod. In the running for all time fav wildcat for me.

This is the biggest news for the trajectory of the program… lose this beast and it’s over

[BleedBlueCats21]

-Speaking of SAE tweets, that one with Stoops' hand is now up to 58 RT and 834 likes. I mean I had no idea it would take off like that. Pretty crazy.

Ha, just got a shout out from Sweeney on The Take.

He was hanging with his family after the game still dressed, and some young girl walked up to him with his back to her and took a selfie of herself in comparison to how massive he his. Made me laugh out loud.

Settle first one fired at UK. Waiting for the rest of the dominos to topple.

Who came up with the matte black helmets with two blue birds face humping each other?

GTFO.

[Vismund]

My favorite play from Saturday was after a play. UL's DB's are trying to start **** with Brown and it's kind of working (just had a big run play and the blocking went well after the whistle). Brown is in the DB's face and C-Rod yanks him back, slaps his helmet and gives him a quick two words to get back to the huddle.

C-Rod definitely wasn't perfect, but his on the field effort and mentality meant a ton to this team.

[80 Proof]

Demarcus Harris in the portal.

This is going to be a saucy six weeks for college football. Especially with us replacing coaches while Stoops has a larger budget.

For being one of the best all time players I'm not sure I can recall Rodriguez talking.

Dude was just all about lowering the boom on some poor safety.

Hard to imagine any team having a trio of rb’s better than ours the last 8-9 years. Boom—>Benny—>Crod

To answer a previous question...

UK ranked 14th in Time of Possession with an average of 32:34 a game. They ranked 121st in average number of plays a game with an average of 64.4 plays a game.

~Glad the regular season has come to a close. It has been exhausting. The last few weeks have been a chore to attend. Didn't even really feel anything at the UL game, just glad it wasn't a loss. Keep all the young talent and find an OC that will bring some juice back to the program.

I think it was last year against Mississippi State where a safety hit him low in the open field and flipped him over with the safety landing on his back. C Rod kept chugging his feet and stomped the poor bastard straight in the face mask.

Nothing dirty about it at all, just one mean son of a gun running for all he's worth. That, to me, will always be my lasting memory of the Bad MFer that is Chris Rodriquez.

Have never been to Ruby’s, only Tony’s, I’m a poor around these parts. BUT I’m going in the next month. Could one of you meat heads give me a solid order, please.

[cut_itloosedoubledeuce]

I hear the fish is good

Get a steak, medium rare. It’s a f*cking steakhouse.

[cawoodsct]

Truly believe boat and Anth could lead me in the right direction for the entire order. They’ve been through the wars.

Not a bad question as some of the starters and sides have become questionable.

Apps:
Ruby Roll
Tuna
Meatball

Salad:
Freddie

Any of the steaks

Sides:
Mushrooms
Potatoes Anna

All the desserts are good.

Barrel aged Manhattan.

Sit in the bar and stay after 8 for some great live music.

[SAECATFAN]

Oh it's steak time again in Lexington?

[80 Proof]

Anything from the raw bar is also a good option for an app.

I love some sautéed mushrooms with my steak, but I'm over the Ruby's style with the cabbage. The Potatoes Anna and the Mac and cheese are great. I also like the Brussels Sprouts.

Ruby's has a good Caesar salad for starting out if you like them, can't go wrong with a Freddie though.

Their specialty is steaks. Just order one that looks good to you.

The house special Manhattan is a great drink, I like a good old fashioned before a steak too.

[wcc31]

I don’t know about you but I’m really looking forward to getting bent out of shape on Twitter tomorrow about soccer with a bunch of under-40 American sportswriters.

Just curious - where did these numbers come from?

So the offense had the ball a lot of time, compared to other teams, but ran very few offensive plays compared to other teams.

With those numbers, it would just about have to mean that UK's offense ran down the play clock (on average) more than just about any team in the country before running their play.

No wonder the offense - and the entire season - was painful to watch.

Cincinnati style steaks!

[UK_ENGR]

Don’t know what flipped the switch but C-Rod cleaned up the fumbleitis with a quickness

[justa]

He trained with Lester Hayes for 3 mins.

I’ve had 5 Ruby steaks this calendar year.

Zero of them were discernible from any other prime steakhouse. Several worse or equal, 1 standout.

That includes chains such as Ruth, and locals that aren’t even PRIME, etc.

It’s a fantastic Atmosphere, especially in Lexington. A great social night out. I get it. And I definitely enjoy as a straggler VIP.

But the once perceived aura of “best steak around by far” is simply, & patently false, from a FOOD ONLY slant.

Sides overall are also well below par for the genre. Mushrooms elite, however. Wedge is fire.

Will enjoy again countless times for certain, mainly for the company…but that’s my objective take.

It’s a great steakhouse, Lex is fortunate to have one, it’s just not the *only* place for a good meal, or steak. Far from it.

Probably banned from crew now

*Malone’s is trash btw. Aside from Lexingtonian. Definitely not my angle.

*Never been to Tony’s

*I really like Ruby’s

[cricket3]

Maybe I got a bad batch but the one time I ordered potatoes Anna they were terrible. Unseasoned half cooked fried potatoes. That was at the downtown Cincy location though.

Call me a simpleton but I always get the baked potato when it’s on the menu. Potato as big as your head and unlimited toppings.

My wife told me today that my SIL boyfriend asked my FIL for her hand in marriage. They’re a young couple from WV and very nice, he’s in the military, we’re all happy for them. But he informed my FIL that he wants to do it at a “fancy dinner” that apparently we’re all going to together in a couple weeks I didn’t know about. Where are we having dinner? Yup, good ole Jeff Ruby’s. So I’ll be seeing an engagement at my next time eating there. Not exactly my style but whatever should be pretty entertaining.

[cawoodsct]

I could use another day before getting back to the real world. Can't pull those 2 day romp fests like I used to.

[SAECATFAN]

The issue of the steakhouse social night out Ruby's soiree for me is that sitting still and consuming 3,000+ calories for 2+ hours isn't exactly my greatest recipe for fun. After that I'm just a food como drunk who needs to go to bed.

Give me a Volare, Porcini, Seviche evening all/air for a small group dinner.

App
Salad
Fish special
Espresso shot

Feel like you've had a great meal but didn't overeat. Wasn't a huge scene. Save $200. Profit.

Maybe I've never just never gone with Anth, though.

[BBdK]

That’s the goal.

If new Anth can’t brag & Shame others About being in bed at 10 and not drinking, what’s the point of his existence? (Aside from working out. Did you hear that he did today? It’s been circling all the channels)

[wcc31]

Eddie: And the oldest boy, God bless him, is off starting his career.

Clark: College?

Eddie: Carnival.

[wcc31]

I only go to Ruby’s or any high end steakhouse after day-drinking for a ballgame.

This page feels like it needs the annual reminder that I proposed to my wife at the fudpuckers bar and grill in destin, Florida. Followed up with an agreeable plate of fried gator tail and French fries.

How about 4? Todd Gurley --> Sony Michel --> Nick Chubb --> D'Andre Swift

Georgia IS RBU.
