Used to play the hell out of some low budget Sega Genesis golf game at Gilbo's apartment freshman/sophomore year. IIRC, the best players were Jay Don Blake, Craig Stadler, Mark Brooks, and Rocco Mediate. Clearly they blew their wad on R&D and didn't have much left over for licensing.

Man I loved EA's NHL Hockey for SEGA right there with all the other historical greats.

Sleepover, cheese pizza delivery, 2-3 Coca-Cola's... that was literally why I did this around 11 years old.

-Bruins were my squad. Cam Neely. Fake like you were going behind the net on right side...slide/circle back left and score at will.

Anyone ever sell your old iPhone back to Gazelle? Pretty badass service. They send you a box. Return your phone. They automatically send you a quick deposit. Piece of cake.

iPhone 8 with cracked, faded screen turned back in.......$8 --> BOOM. Right in my checking account.

F'ing A. This long weekend is off to a BIG start.

Fun stuff here gang. Left work because the Midland, Michigan police detective called me. My dad tried to renew his license and they denied it and he tried to leave anyway so they called the POH-lease, apparently that’s how I say it #red but he ended up not arrested but in jail because he wouldn’t give up his keys and they wouldn’t let him drive.

So I either drive to Michigan or he sits in jail til Monday. Hoping my detective buddy there can get him out and home but his driving days are done. Going to be a tough row to hoe after this.

But all is well, rather get this process underway and moving than have it just hanging over my head. Definitely terrible for him and his last years though.

Anyway, just needed to vent that out.

I really hate UofL and their losing used to give me as much joy as UK winning and I still enjoy the football losses very, very much. Basketball, though I'm starting to wonder if we need Louisville to be better. Cal at least seemed to be motivated beating Rick and now it's just one less thing to motivate him. It's got to helping Cal just a little bit that they are a disaster. I cannot imagine if social media had been around in the 80's . The things that would have been said about Joe B. ..

- Kenny Payne was hired in MARCH. It's not as if he took over this roster two weeks from the season opener. How did he whiff on so many guards in the portal, let alone late-blooming HS kids? I realize he inherited a mess, but the fact that he didn't go out and get SOMEBODY, when he had all Spring/Summer to do it, is pretty inexcusable.

- And that sequence in today's game where Huntley-Hatfield missed the layup at one end, then he, James, and a third kid jogged back up the court while Tech quickly advanced the ball back the other way and scored on a layup, shows that this bunch is already in danger of having checked out. Nightmare.

- Turkey etouffee from Bourbon n' Toulouse tomorrow night for dinner. Has become a Thanksgiving Eve tradition in our house. Unreal stuff.

- Can't wait for the coaching carousel to spin into high gear as soon as the Egg Bowl ends. Feels like at least one job will open up somewhat unexpectedly. My hunch at the moment is that Stanford finds a way to move on from David Shaw. That program has NO juice right now.

- Growing up, there wasn't a cooler Kentuckian than John Y. Brown. The guy just had it all.
