Boy, there are really people who don't think we have gun problems in the US because ChICaGO!11!!. It doesn't matter if it's a deranged hermaphrodite who's off zygote/zimbot's HRT, a gang banging black teen with a glock or a wannabe right wing media hero shooting up a riot, there IS a gun problem in the US. We're just too stupid to realize that the media and our trash can politicians play us for fools by making us think that one of these are better or worse than the other.

Edit : I used to be one of those idiots, FYI.

Oh well in that case, no problem on another mass shooting that killed a bunch of people. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Just point the blame in the right direction, and tell the story as it actually happened. Don't make s*** up. Not that much to ask.

I mean, we spent a solid 10 years reading every single news story involving a brown person who committed a gun crime included anonymous eyewitness testimony that the gunman was overhead shouting "allah akbar!" or "praise allah!"

Just tell the truth, man. Shouldn't be that hard.

-another <25yo, with a history of mental issues that involve state authorities purchased a rifle legally and killed innocent folk.

Easy ****:
-raise the right to purchase age to 25...no-brainer. Mental illness has usually manifested by that age.

-the state *has* to get better at monitoring/communicating...making sure this **** shows up when background checks are requested.

-call it a "gun problem" , I agree. That said guns are not going away/there will be no confiscation.

^raising the age to 25 will mitigate these shootings. Drug crime/gang related shootings are going nowhere...legalizing/decriminalization of all drugs would be the play to mitigate those shootings. There are other societal costs to take into consideration there.

^these are practical steps that could be taken for the "gun problem". If you could combine that with better mental health awareness and treatment* things would be better.

*to me this is the largest issue, and I don't have any good answers.

It's terrible....but, routine each weekend in crime ridden cities such as Chicago. Yeah, I went there, just to point out you can't pick and choose where to put your soapbox.
And we all know that inner city crime is a cause near and dear to your heart and you're doing everything you can to combat the issue. Oh, and mass shootings are not "routine each weekend in Chicago!!11!!." Most of those crimes occurring in Chicago are drug turf wars and not random. Nice try ********.

Arkansas has ELEVEN (11) new players, led by a freshman (stud) PG, and their superstar still hasn't played a game yet...

...and they're impressive as hell -- just flat get after it and never stop attacking. Gonna be scary by the end of the year. What a stable of athletes and dudes they have. Muss is unreal.

Meanwhile, we're led by Upperclassmen, "haven't practiced" or whatever, and need a few months to figure things out. K

-Creighton is obviously legit F4 good. Really love the makeup of their squad...and that honk center is a baller - basically had his way against the most athletic team he'll face all season.

Little Nembhard was fantastic, that dunk really caught me off guard. Obviously would have been nice to have Baylor, but it seems pretty clear he was destined to go back home, as he could have chosen his spot.

Greg McD looks like a mob boss over on the sideline. He's an elite coach, or right there on the cusp, imo. I've always really enjoyed that program from afar, one of the best fanbases in CBB - always top 5-10 in attendance.

That’s all well and good but how much money has he helped players earn?

Really digging how the Wednesday before Thanksgiving has become a univeral blow-off day for pretty much everyone in recent years. Even welders maybe? Haven’t even checked email today.

Some tacos and a couple Modelo Negras for lunch at the tacqueria down the street. Now I’m going to eat a gummy or two and put up some outdoor Christmas lights. We’ll see how they end up - my display this year might have a creative bent, or even an “artist’s” flair. We’ll see where the buzz takes me.

Boy howdy, I'll tell ya what. If this North Whoever team is full of undersized white guys that know how to pass, space the court, and shoot really well then I'm gonna absolutely be on one today. Please, please don't let this happen.

- I don't care how cliché they are for basic bitches like myself, Air Max 270s for life /Caucasian

- Late to the party and I know someone on here was hyping him HARD years ago (dk?) but after hearing his tunes here and there for years, I finally got hooked by Thundercat. I still can't square his solo stuff with his time in Suicidal Tendencies though. What a wild departure.

"Institutionalized" still slaps, though.

- Go Cats, go Kennedy's, beat the stuffing out of the dirty Birds.

Ahead of the hearing, attorneys for Aldrich submitted a court filing stating the suspect identifies as non-binary.
https://www.cnn.com/2022/11/21/us/club-q-colorado-shooting-victims/index.html
“They use they-them pronouns, and for the purposes of all formal filings, will be addressed as Mx. Aldrich,” the court document noted.

The public defender’s office is representing Aldrich and has declined all requests for comment, citing office policy.

Yeah, about that. It's unreal how often they get this stuff wrong initially. Wonder if they'll apologize? Prolly not.

The frequent references to how shooters were known within intelligence circles - and sometimes even actively meeting w/them is - something else

Did anyone else know about the penalty assessment that apparently always occurs when USC & UCLA play while both wearing their home colors?

Cause apparently having both teams wear home uniforms is a penalty assessed at kickoff -

And apparently - at least starting around 2009 - theres been a cycle of :

1) UCLA penalized at kickoff for wearing home unis
2) USC follows with calling a time out of their own in order to eliminate the advantage

Cant think of other teams that square off with both sides wearing home colors

There USED to be teams who chose to wear road / white uniforms at home when they hosted a team that preferred NOT to wear their colors ....

LSU is the one Ive always heard placed in that category -

Home teams choose white and force them to wear their purple (which was unlucky to the voodoo swamp people of the Pelican state??

In the NFL certain teams would do the same with the Dallas Cowboys who preferred not to wear their blue --

I love **** like that

PS : Belated Congratulations to Air Force on their overdue Commander in Chief Trophy & subsequent victories over Army and Navy

PSS : Will "space force" one day have an academy and football team?

[laughing] [laughing] [laughing] [laughing] 💣
